What are you dates? That’s awesome! We’ll be there earlier in February so we’ll miss each other this time.

I'm not sure. That's a great question. Hopefully one of the others familiar with the program can sayYeah. My problem is that I’m away on a camping trip when I should be sitting in front of my computer booking FastPasses. Not sure how my cell reception will be. DH is thinking we should just go with the club level paid FP option, even if it means that on the third day we don’t use all of our regular FP. Our flight home is at 6:30pm, so we could leave as late as 3:30 or 4pm if we Uber it instead of DME.
With the club level FP, are you guaranteed to get all your choices if you’re booking them as early as possible?

Some other evening apps. Sorry for pic quality. Lounge has been pretty busy so not ideal for taking pics.![]()
Hi all,
Longtime lurker, first time poster. I've booked our CL at AKL (first time staying deluxe) for September 6-13, 2019. I know many things will change by then but is there anything I should be aware of? I'm super excited!

CL comparison between AKL and WL:
1) Lounge - WL takes this: Your in your own world and there's a lot of space, always empty tables, nice area, separate room for food. Watch MK fireworks from lounge deck, now that's cool.
2) Food - both have fabulous hot dishes though WL focused more on fish. So, appetizer time, they seemed to have more, BUT, AKL wins snacks and desserts hands down, - my son is missing AKLs Krispy treats, and WL has continually the same, though good. And they do have the trail mix baggie thing going on.
3) CMs-. WL has this in the bag. These people are super nice - Everywhere on the property.
4) Resort beauty and interestingness - (yes, I did just invent a word) - .AKL wins with all of the cool lobby exhibits like the big mask they make, animals, etc.,
5) Busses - Better service at AKL. Have waited 25 and 30 min. In hot DHS and Epcot to get back to WL, and although they don't always share, they sometimes do with contemporary or ft.wilderness.
6) Gift shop- AKL cause it really is one of the best gift shops, not much at WL, seems like a missed opportunity there.
7) Housekeeping and rooms- WL easy. There there for whatever you need, your in your own CL bubble, cool elevator down the hall to the QS. Because your right with them, there always trying to do turndown service or if you don't want it, give you ghiardelli chocolates, lol.
8) boat to MK or eating at CR or monorail resort at WL.
Bottom line they are both good in their own way, but I give WL the edge, especially can't believe how great the service is here.
But I think next time BWI cause you've got to try them all?!
That is wonderful. We are staying there this summer and can't wait. We love visiting the AKL but never stayed there. We can't wait to try the CL lounge. Enjoy the planning.![]()

I’ve never even visited it, so it’s all very new to me. It looks so beautiful. We’re also celebrating my parents’ 50th and Dad’s 70th birthday in addition to our 15th and my 42nd birthday so I’m hoping things go well.
CR Tower Club mini update
CR Tower Club mini update:
So we arrived last night after the absolute WORST traffic I've ever seen on WDW property. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive into MCO until 6:40pm. We decided to take a Lyft rather than deal with DME (which I'm glad we did) but World Drive just beyond the MK gates was a parking lot and we spent 60 minutes traveling one mile. We actually ditched the Lyft about 500 meters away from the hotel main entrance and hoofed it to the lobby, dragging all our bags with us. Not exactly a magical arrival experience. We didn't check in until 9pm. We left the airport at 7...it was awful.
We were not escorted up to the Club Level until our entire check in was done, which meant we missed a good portion of the fireworks show, which was a bummer. We will see them tonight though.
Desserts in the lounge were kind of pitiful, to be honest. Mini cupcakes, mini key lime tarts, some orange sherbet (kind of odd choice...my kids were not into that), strawberry shortcake cups, and cookies. Wine options are nice, though, and they did have Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lounge is tiny, IMO and the balcony was absolutely packed with people watching the fireworks so we couldn't even go out there. Luckily our room has an MK view so we will use our own balcony tonight.
Which brings me to our room...we got assigned the one HA room I was dreading getting. The beds are only full sized (not queen) and the bathroom is a completely useless design (unless you have a wheelchair, I guess). There is NO storage space in this bathroom. Towels were literally stacked on the countertops, which is fine until you need that space. There are no places to even hang the towels except for ONE hook. There are 4 of us. The toilet is out in the open opposite the sinks and the shower is a roll in one that leaks water all over the floor. The pocket door to the bathroom has frosted glass so when my husband was in there early this morning, the light illuminated the entire room. What a stupid design.
Anyway, I went back to the desk to ask if there were any other rooms we could move to. While the ladies who helped me were VERY kind, they kept insisting the room had queen beds and that "ALL our rooms have queen beds here" and that is simply wrong. I literally measured the bed and it is very clearly a full size bed. I brought up the bed size mainly because the room doesn't have a daybed and my two teen autistic sons can't share a smaller bed at this point. I asked for a rollaway, but was told they would find us a room. After almost 30 min on the phone, they said we could move today into a room with queen beds and a standard bathroom today, but we would lose the MK view and would be "homeless" between 11am and 3pm, which, frankly, after the travel day we had, is an inconvenience we don't want to deal with, as we are only here 4 nights and will already have this situation when we change resorts on Saturday.
So, I'm pretty disappointed right now and hope I can just let it go and enjoy the rest of our stay here despite hating this room. We did end up getting a rollaway and the housekeeper who brought it up confirmed the beds are not queen sized, so at least I feel validated for my complaint. She also pointed out how much lower to the ground they are which we hadn't noticed immediately. Overall, I wish we had gotten a room on the Atrium Club level (or frankly a regular tower room), as I don't think these rooms up here are worth the price point. They don't have a very user friendly design (missing daybeds, a desk, drawer space, bathroom storage space, etc). It feels like a cavernous space, but its mostly just empty. The decor is also super plain and uninspired. I much prefer the decor in the regular rooms. The only pluses are the MK view, the giant TV, the excellent AC, and the bedsare comfy. Oh, another thing I hate is that you can't manually close the main door. It opens up ALL the way and stays open for about 15 seconds and then auto closes, which means you can't "slip out" quietly and the door stays open long enough for passersby to see all the way into the room for a good 10 seconds. If you try and manually shut it, it pops back open.
Oh, there are robes and slippers and we got more toiletries and extras than I've ever seen: shaving kit, dentalknits, sunscreen, and literally the entire line of H2O Plus bath care items. It's taking up 30% of our available content space on a huge display.
I will come back and update on the lounge offerings later today.
Note to self: NEVER AGAIN check into ANY MK resort on July 3 or 4 if we will be arriving in the evening. The traffic was an absolute cluster.

AGREED!!! A good TA is worth their weight in GOLD!!!I would find a Disney specific TA and ask them to check for you. I am surprised no one suggests this. I have seen zero availability for certain rooms and my TA has been able to get me a room.
The Tower Club rooms are not listed on the web, they are only available via calling CRO. The Atrium Club is on the 12th floor and has a mix of King, 2 Queen rooms and some suites. The Tower Club is on the 14th floor (really 13) and has only 5 non-suite rooms: Two kings and 3 Queens (one is HA). @DLgal got the only HA room unfortunately. So sorry to hear -hopefully your vaca takes a much better turn for you. I'd be pretty deflated if I paid CR CL and ended up with that sort of room. Last time I stayed in a CR suite, it was like 1988 or something. We're headed back there in the fall, but not sure which room category. What is the difference between Atrium and Tower? On MDE, I only ever see CL for Atrium, never Tower.

Since there are fewer rooms on the Tower Club level the lounge is much smaller than the Atrium Club on the 12th floor. The 12th floor is open to the "A frame" atrium below while the Tower Club is fully enclosed.

Do you know if the Tower Club rooms (non-suites) rates are the same as the Atrium Club rooms? We received a complementary upgrade to a Tower Club suite last year and loved it! Far preferable to us than the Atrium Club. We likely wouldn’t stay in a suite again but would love to stay in the Tower Club; I didn’t realize non-suites were available. The Tower Club rooms are not listed on the web, they are only available via calling CRO. I have a standard king booked on Tower Club level for October. I was told it could be either view. According to this it should be theme park view. Is that correct? We have never stayed at CR and are very excited to try it.The last time I priced the Tower Club rooms they were less than $100 more than a TPV Atrium CL room in 2016. See the comment below about 1 Queen room overlooking Bay Lake for the same price.
Note that 4 of "standard" rooms are TPV on the Tower CL (Two kings and 2 Queens (one is HA)). There is one additional Queen room overlooking Bay Lake (4905). The Tower CL balconies are quite large due to the building setback, however as mentioned earlier the Tower Club lounge is much smaller then the Atrium CL.
The Atrium CL lounge was formed by taking 3 standard rooms and that's results in the 3 large balconies on the 12th floor. The Tower CL lounge was formed from 2 standard rooms so about 2/3 the size of the Atrium level.
Depending on when you travel it can almost seem like you have the entire 14th floor to your selves. Other times it can be overflowing if any of or all of the Suites are being used for a Hospitality room(s) for a Conference or large group(s).
