Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Very excited to say I booked my first CL room today. My son and I will be at the Boardwalk Inn for 2 nights October 2-4. We'll be staying at All Star Music for 4 nights first with friends then when they leave we'll be moving up big time. It's my son's 10th birthday on the 10th so we're celebrating in style.

I'm so excited. We stayed at our first deluxe resort last year, the Contemporary and we loved it.

Can we use the lounge right away on check in day? Since we're only there for 2 nights I want to take full advantage.
I started mom and me trips with dd at 11 and ds at 10. Such great times!!

DS picked POP for his 10 trip. I let him buy any toy from Lego and star tours etc he wanted. He kept asking why??? Well, I knew the next trip(due at age 12) he wouldn't want any toys anymore, so buy him whatever toy he want wants, it may be your last!

Well if there is flavored syrup... all will be well.... I would have been happy with flavored coffee-mate but syrup and half and half? That's better than I was hoping for :)

Thank you for letting me know @Dispro1 !

I've never used a flavored creamer in my life but after reading what Dispro1 said I think I might try that! :D

They still want "toys" but the expensive kind! ;) My 15 year old is always wanting everything he can get his hands on in the Japan gift shop at Epcot.

I know, right??? It's so gross. I don't understand people who just let their kids run wild. Do I want to pay $800 a night to watch little Johnny touch every bagel and muffin to find the one he likes best? Ugh! :crazy2: I'm a mean lady, I go up to them and say, "Where's your grownup?" and scare them away! :rotfl:

I love the reaction of a certain CM at BC when a kid touches (or coughs on:scared:) food. It's that tiny little lady CM/sleek dark hair always pulled back neatly in a pony or bun, speaks a different language and is very serious about her work -- know who I mean?:) She will also get the vacuum out right during a meal if a child spills something. I know if she could post on this board, she would be right in on this conversation LOL.

Same with DS13! WS is my favorite place at WDW and he is definitely my WS buddy, but the gift shop in Japan..he wants it all!
We will be there in 6 days (!!!!) and he went to work with DH today to earn souvenir money!

Thankfully Nic has a job now so he has been saving his paychecks for Japan. :D Thank goodness Southwest Airlines lets us bring plenty of luggage! ;)

I like it when the CMs call people out on rude behavior. I saw a male CM at the BC last year ask a family soaking wet from the pool and barefoot to please leave the lounge. I felt like standing up to applaud! :D

I just updated page 1 with some general lounge info. Take a look and let me know if I've forgotten something important. :D

I'm devastated I can't wear my Tink PJs to the lounge! :crazy2: I've seen WL CMs yell at kids for using their hands on food as well. Manners never go out of style!

Does anyone know where to find a CL menu for BWI?

I'll be there in 10 days! If I'm not too lazy I'll post some pictures and lists of offerings while I'm there. Speaking of pictures: I've tried posting from my iPad using the camera link but it isn't working for me. Anyone have additional step by step directions on how that is done? Thanks for any help!

Got you added! :) Ahhhhh, Christmas in WDW!!! :cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

I just checked to see if anyone was visiting BWI at the same time as us and I've never given you my dates! We will be at BWI July 25-29 if you can add us please. I'm looking forward to the quiet pool in the heat of the day!

I'm so glad to hear that sometimes the CMs do speak up. I have seen some atrocious behavior in the Disney lounges and I have NEVER witnessed anyone being asked to either change their behavior or leave.

Sometimes they handle issues quietly. I really think that is their preferred method, if they have the option.

That would be best, of course. I mean that I haven't seen anything addressed at all (as in, screaming kid having a tantrum right where the food is served? Let's just let him lie on the floor and see how long it will take for him to stop. No idea where the parents were or why they thought the rest of us should have to deal with this for over 10 mins...) There was no CM intervention that morning. People were stepping over the child to get their breakfast. It was awful... I'm pretty sure the parents were busy eating breakfast and thought they'd just wait the tantrum out. And believe it or not, we've witnessed worse. :(

I have seen people in there in socks (grown man included) with feet up on the coffee tables. Nothing was said. I asked a CM and he said they are not supposed to say anything to the guests. BWI

There seems to be a different protocol for the desk CMs to follow versus the lounge servers. The desk CMs are more likely to approach a guest, the lounge servers not so much.

At least you have a boy. DD16 wants designer purses and such!! ....which is why we always go to the Orlando Premium outlet mall :)

At least designer purses are fun! ;) Have you seen the price tag on gaming computers, videogame consoles, and games? Add in multiple pairs of Beats and gaming headsets, all the controllers and extra cables and components, monthly subscriptions to all the different games sites, xbox money, Steam money, iTunes money. Connor just upgraded his video card in his computer yet again. I swear it takes a fortune to keep them up and running with all their electronics. It's insane. I'd much rather shop at the outlet mall with you guys!! :D

I have witnessed lounge CMs telling guests that had to wear shoes (they were in swimwear/cover ups). They used the excuse that glasses get broken all the time, and they didn't want anyone to get hurt. This was at RPC, but really they could use this excuse often since all the CLs I've stayed in have tile in the food service area.

As I typed that Connor was standing here chanting "Mommy Mommy check the porch again, hurry, hurry, my new gaming microphone is out for delivery!!!" :rotfl:
No judging here. I just checked the porch for my new tablecloth. If it's a good price, and it's from Couleur Nature, I'm in. :)
