Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Just got back from a week in a standard view CL room at Yacht Club. Feel free to ask me any questions you many have :-)

My countdown is 8 days! I've been reading conflicting reviews of whether Club Level at YC as already been renovated. What was your experience? Were there many food options around dinner time? I hope you had a great trip!!

Day 3 at CR Atrium Club. Not to focus on a negative to start out, but I really wish these CLs would either 1) make an obvious place to leave your dirty plates/dishes or 2) have a CM always ready to bus tables. I was in the lounge this AM from 7-7:45 as more and more tables were left uncleared, and the new folks coming in were running out of options to sit. 2 CMs just standing around most of the time (doing some food replenishment in between chatting amongst themselves). I had this same experience at RPC last Feb too.

I prefer Poly's setup with the place to leave your plates by the trash can, supplemented by CMs clearing/cleaning the tables.

BC CL was extremely quick to to clear tables in July.

Anyway, again, just a small nit. Having a great stay so far!

Thanks for the update. That chocolate bowl looked too good to be true! ;). I went back 5 pages and saw the CR but didn't see Poly pics. I'll have to go further back!

DH made his way home and approves of Poly. Now he just needs to find 5 free days! When I was showing him locations on the map of Hawaii he really liked it!

I can literally eat cheese crackers and veggies/fruit and be happy. I remember at AKL everyone pushed the dried figs to one side...more for me!! The punch counts as fruit too, right?

I'm really sorry for the scare! Most of those rooms have THE best MK view. Unfortunately, it's a hike to the lounge and to the monorail: down the hall to the "private" elevator and up to lounge level. Then down another hall to the lounge and if you're heading to the monorail down That elevator to the main lobby. It was nice at first but got old. We were there 10 days. I was just annoyed to be "upgraded" the 2nd time. I'll post a view picture. It really is spectacular. Don't be afraid!

I would be in heaven even without the hot appetizers. Punch and POG!

Am I understanding right the 2nd floor doesn't have a balcony? Any thoughts on room requests given that? I'll stop asking questions soon and CL can return to regular programming!

Thanks so much for the great info! I LOVE the pictures too. Thanks for taking the time to share your visit.

My trip was 7/28 and I posted I think on poly thread but Gadad did both threads around same time.

2 Bd floor only has a door you can slide to listen to outside. Blueskies requested that floor twice because it's more convenient to the lobby .

I always email Ipo and ask for 1st or 3rd and have gotten it each time .

Tikimanpages.com is a must for an upcoming poly trip!

Oh ask away ! I am busy trying to figure out where I can find info on CR gv room. I want a EWP view for January !

We are in withdrawal of DW and the Poly so talking about it helps. Don't worry about the questions. We were a party of 10 so we wanted adjoining rooms - so that was our priority. You are correct that the 2nd floor rooms do not have a balcony. I do love a balcony but when you have the lounge to sit in it doesn't bother me that much to not have it. I along with 2 of my kids are early risers so having the balcony is lovely for us to sit and chat and not wake anyone else up. We were on the 3rd floor 2/3 of the way down the hall - so the balcony was nice. It was never too much walking for us as we all have Fitbits and want as many steps as we can get. :flower: One time we were on the 2nd floor and that was nice too.

There is an elevator right there but maybe we took it once - the stairs are open and lovely to walk on as you pass the lounge on the way up or down. I have never had a 1st floor room so I can't comment on how that is.

If you feel you will use the balcony then request it. We had a GV room and had a lovely view of the Oasis pool - it was so relaxing. The last time we stayed there we had a TPV and all we watched was the building of the Bungalows. They definitely hide some of view of the castle. We absolutely love the Poly it is so relaxing.

Ask away!

It had been renovated, yes. It was to make it larger, although in my opinion it still needed to be bigger, as it got very crowded at breakfast time. We loved the food choices from 5-7. There were always 2 hot appetisers. My favourite was a pepper and feta filo parcel. They also had two salad type options. There was a chic pea one which was especially good. There was loads of choice, and we used it as dinner to be honest. We didn't buy any food at all the whole week we were there.

Agree 100%. I think Poly's style is just perfect -- it's easy enough to set our own dishes in the dirty-dish area, and I love the accessible trash cans. Of course, with Irv walking around, he'll always clear/clean tables and also stop for some conversation! I experienced the same thing as you did at RPC - that was my only negative to point out there. And BC CL -- yes they are super quick, almost too quick for me as we really do enjoy our leisure time in the lounge and enjoy sipping a drink or picking at a snack. BWI CL was the exact same as BC CL in that regard, fyi. Very, very efficient that's for sure!

Enjoy your (last?) day and thanks for keeping us informed and for posting all the great pics too!

Good morning from RPC!! We are in 1 of those dreaded second floor king deluxe rooms. This is our third stay there. I did request an octagon room, but since we're only here 3 nights, I wasn't hopeful of getting one. Oh well, can't beat RPC even with a les than ideal room location!!! :goodvibes

Room is clean and so pretty. Cast members clearing tables in lounge quickly & very friendly. Breakfast, snack & tea offerings were great. I was impressed that the turkey at breakfast is real sliced turkey breast & not just processed deli stuff.

We were dropped of by a Towncar service yesterday. Had to find bell services ourselves to get our luggage taken, area was one of chaotic when we got here. We were greeted right inside by the "guest experience" manager, sorry, don't remember his name & 2 CMs with iPads. He asked our name & turned us iver to 1 of the CMs. She had our packet & checked us in as we headed to the lounge. Pretty quick & easy. Weather is great & crowds low!!! :goodvibes

Home from an incredible 7 night stay at CR Tower Club 1 bedroom Bay Lake View suite.

Great selections of food everyday. Bottled water offered to take to the park along with great suggestions and tips from the fabulous CMs; mark and Susan in particular.

Feel free to ask away. I wish we were still there!

Glad you had a good time and enjoyed CR Tower Club :wizard:.

Have a great trip! :yay:

Thanks for popping in with the quick review of your arrival/check in. Hope you have a great stay :goodvibes.

Love the reports :) Thanks guys! I didn't notice while scanning back over... is there an estimated date for finish of the WL club level? Anxious to see pics & what the remodel looks like all refreshed & new!

Had the whole level been renovated, rooms too? I can't wait! Thanks for the info!

Funny you post the above. Here are the toiletries in CR (I'm not sure if this is just CL or all of CR?). These seem upgraded from anything I've had in other places. I guess just larger versions? No foot scrub though.

Speaking of the bathroom at CR. Am I the only one that uses one sink as a sink and the other as a table to put all of your stuff? Probably a guy thing I guess!

Do you remember if they had Chocolate Croissants at breakfast time?
We had them last month.

GADisneyDad14, We'd also like to see a place to put dirty dishes. I'm not a fan of leaving/having plates on my table. I'd happily clear my own. CR used to have a tray out, and Some of the other CL's have trays. (but not all.)

We also noticed the new toiletries at CR. Previously, the version in your image was only at GF. (the values gave us a third version of h20; an all-in-one shampoo/conditioner.)

Oddly enough, the US hotels also offer varied brands/styles of shampoo. The brand offered at Sapphire Falls is better than the one at Royal Pacific's CL. The Sapphire Falls products are really nice stuff. It is even better than any of the h2o products.

The CR gift shop sells h20.

Love hearing this, especially the bolded part! We absolutely loved our first stay at RPC earlier this year. If we had to nitpick one negative, it would be the lack of CM's working in the lounge area, thus there were lots of dirty dishes on tables....we went right during the cutback phase, though, so I'll bet by now things are back to being stellar!

Have a great time!

We were upgraded to 2 bedroom suites at CR & YC in December. We had those upgraded toiletries in both rooms, but not in regular club level rooms for many years. So I'm thinking that are extras in the suites only.

No, we don't use the sink for storage!

We had the upgraded toiletries in a regular CL room at CR. I think they are a recent change.

Oh, and during our stay the pillow chocolates changed. The first night they had CR foil wrappers like always, but after the rest were Ghirardelli brand in custom wrappers.

We're staying at BC CL & we only had what's in the pic below in toiletries. I wish we had the foot cream.

BWI CL had the regular non CL toiletries, nothing special at all. We have been so many times that we bring all of our own stuff, with the exception of the lotion, which I use non stop while in the parks, I didn't even bother bringing anything home.

Hey tsme, maybe this is an EPCOT resort thing...... although I can't remember if we had regular toiletries or not in Hawaii last year
