Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Question please:
If I check in online into my AK Club Level room but actual room is not ready yet.
Am I allowed access to Club in the morning while waiting for room ready notice?
I'm checking out of BLT and then driving to Jambo.

Thanks much.

Yep, you have access to all CL amenities the full day of your check in and check out days. BTW online check in or not doesn’t matter in terms of this - you can check in however you’d like.

Have fun!

You are allowed access the day of check in to the day of check out from the time CL opens until it closes. Make sure you see a CM to reset your magic band just in case

Thank you so much for answering. Never been Club Level at AK and it's been many years when we were at YC.

For my crazy trip last week. We had poly resort view 12/08-09 then moved to Poly GV CL 12/9-11 followed by a single night 12/11-12 when dd needed to fly to VA instead of my house in NY.

At 7:30 am we walked to Hawaii, our MB didn’t work but we were brought in by Cm’s. Luckily one recognized us and called and got a room that morning.

She called us at our Fiji room and said I’ll check you out and check you in , the room is ready, when you get the text head on over. Dd was working so that was nice. We got a nice view in 3rd floor.

Around 10p on the 10th I finally for a poly resort view with the BB rate. We had been at CR GW. So in the morning we checked out and dropped our bags after breakfast with Bell Services.

We when got back we had a room ready text so grabbed bags and went to Tuvalu. The cm had mentioned that MB is attached to room reservation. So we didn’t use our MB in Tuvalu room, we used our APP in the phone, our MB worked all day on our check out day for the Hawaii building/lounge! It was nice to have icecream and watch HEA and only have to walk across the resort after.

So for us having access arrival and checkout was nice. The cms right make it much easier if have an issue.

I usually can’t keep up with this thread due to all the activity, but it’s pretty slow right now so I’ll let ya’ll know that I got a call from Royal Palm Club staff yesterday! We haven’t received a call from them before a stay in a long time! But would you believe the number showed up as no caller id??!!!!! I was so ticked because I didn’t answer but would’ve liked to have discussed room requests with them! Why on earth wouldn’t it show up as a Disney number like every other call before?! It’s like they didn’t want me to answer 😂! Of course, the message said to call DSS with any questions 🙄. Very annoying since we’re paying an absolute fortune for two rooms, and I’m worried about them being far apart. No suites have become available the entire year we’ve had to look since I booked last December!

I had the same recently - no caller ID, those just get screened. I have had decent luck sonetimes making room requests by emailing Signature Services, but obvs better to speak to the actual RPC staff!!! When are you leaving?

Hi, all - quick questions, managed to get a 1 BR suite in the GF main building at BB rate for my trip with DMom. It looks like these all have 1.5 bathrooms, anyone know if there are any with 1? Also, are the living room/bedroom fairly separated/is there a door? Adore my mom, but she snores like the dickens, and I like my own space. Would do 2 rooms but even with BB it’s like 500 more per night, and I’d rather spend the $ taking her to V&A and After Hours. Thx!!

Oh, also - if anyone does the gift card game, giftcards.com has DGC for 10% off. If using a BB rate, it really adds up!

So is this deliberate 😂?! Maybe I need to start answering “no caller id” calls when I’m close to a trip! We don’t leave until after Christmas. Honestly, I’ve probably done everything I can already since we were just in RPC the weekend before Thanksgiving and I had a desk CM there note requests on our reservations. It probably won’t make much difference anyway if the rooms we want are already occupied when we arrive. I am willing to move the next day to get what we want though!

I have stayed in both one bedroom suites but both prior to the renovation. As far as I know they didn’t change the floor plan though so layout should be the same, I think?? They both only have 1.5 baths. You have to book a one bedroom in an outer building to get a full 2nd bath. I think that’s what you were asking? The two one bedroom suites are 4026 and 4028. I always thought I preferred 4026 because it has a bigger living room, but then one time I got 4028, and I discovered I like 4028 pretty much for the reason you’re talking about…better separation of spaces! If we are with our college DD, 4028 works much better because the living room and bedroom are separated by a foyer. You enter the foyer and the bedroom and a bath are to the left, and the living room and half bath are to the right. In 4026, the living room and bedroom are only separated by a connecting door, so that doesn’t really cancel out noise completely. I really like these suites though, and they are hard to get, so you’re lucky to have snagged one! The one thing I don’t love about them is that both suites have a connecting door in the bedroom, so if you happen to get a neighbor with noisy kids, you might hear them. We had that happen once when a neighbor had an infant who cried in the middle of the night, but it was only one night thankfully. It’s actually the two one bedroom suites that connect, but I wish they had made one bedroom connect to a living room in the other because I wouldn’t even want to connect to a bedroom with my own kids in it since my DD26 has an 8 month old😂!

Good luck!! Sounds like your bases are as covered as possible. I assume this is soon, yay!

I wear sleep buds and stuff a towel into any connecting door, so hopefully that part will be ok. I haven’t ruled out separate rooms, but even at BB rates, it is a lot more, almost as much as a 2 BR suite in an outer building - thought about it, but Mom wants to be in the main building. For that price, hoping I can just nab one of the named suites there, I guess we’ll see. 1.5 ba is fiiiiine! In the meantime, I’ll request 4028 (and mention the snoring ;) ). Thank you!!

Thanks so much! That definitely does help! When I called Signature Services earlier to inquire they said you have to go to the Mears area to check in for the Minnie Van which I thought was incorrect. Very helpful about the space issue as well because we will have 4 large suitcases. Our 60 days is on Sunday so I will see what they say about that but sounds like we'll be going the limo route. Thanks again!
You're welcome! I'm glad I could help clear things up. It sounds like the limo route is a great option for your luggage and comfort. If you're looking for a more luxurious and reliable ride, a black car service would be perfect for your trip. Let me know if you need any more info – have a great time on your 60-day adventure!

Hi everyone! I'm looking for advice on CL at the Beach Club. It's my absolute favorite resort and we would love to take our daughter next month for her very first trip. I can't tell you how many resorts we've booked and canceled for this trip due to construction, transportation options, recent reviews. Its actually been kind of stressful.

We never considered staying Club level, but its all that's left at the Beach Club for a 9-day stay in the middle of January. Any reviews? My husband can eat, and loves the idea of popping in and out of the lounge all day. We also think it'll be really convenient with our daughter, especially when it comes to breakfast and snacks. The only real issue is that we're pescetarians and are hoping there are enough appetizer options for us to make it worth it.

We also only plan on doing half days at the parks. We would get a quick breakfast at the lounge, head out for a few hours and get either a late brunch or lunch at the parks, and then head back for appetizers, dessert and resort time. It's just so pricey, but we figure it may actually even out since we tend to do a lot of sit down restaurants.

Just want to make sure it's worth it before we decide to spend so much. Right now we're trying to decide between resort view club level at the Beach Club, or water view over at the Yacht Club. We leave in less than a month and still don't know what to do!

We stayed at Beach Club CL with a vegetarian in our party. They were incredibly accommodating and even brought him special food during the evening appetizers that they had made at the restaurant downstairs. Just let them know of your dietary restrictions in advance.

Thanks so much! That sounds great

I have a BWI resort view CL room booked for an upcoming stay. Do all of these rooms come with the sofa that folds down into a daybed? My 7 year old loves to sleep on these beds (and he moves so much in his sleep it’s better than him sharing a bed lol). I’m getting ready to make a room request and trying to figure out if I need to include daybed in the request.

No some rooms don't have the daybed.

I’m getting ready to make a room request and trying to figure out if I need to include daybed in the request.
Yes you would want to request it but since those rooms sleep 5 guests they get preference. And double check at check-in with the CL CM that you request was met.

All of the club rooms I have stayed in at the Boardwalk have had the sleep sofa. We usually have one of our grand children want to stay in our room with us and they love the sofa. A cast member from the Innkeepers Club with call you 5 days before your trip and you can double check with them to make sure , but I am sure you will have one. Lene will be back from vacation this week and I will text her to make sure all rooms have this and I will let you know!

Don’t want to be a negative Nelly, (YC is my favorite resort) but be aware that Stormalong Bay will be closed from Jan-June 2025. It won’t stop me, I have a reservation at YC CL in March but I wanted you to be aware. The other smaller pools will be open. The ones at BC, YC and the Viilas.
