So far we’re having a spectacular stay at Old Faithful. The entire cast is has been absolutely amazing.

When you’re greeted by Andrew every afternoon and evening with a frosty cold beer you know they are doing it right.

I’ll post the three-day rotation of food tomorrow night for anyone that’s curious - the setup hasn’t changed so I haven’t taken any pictures but if anyone has questions let me know!

I’m staying there in 5 days. You’re getting me very excited for it. We haven’t stayed WL CL for 8ish years.

We are thinking of doing CL at CS. What were the food options like? Was it a three/four day rotation? Just curious.

I want to say 3-day because we had the same breakfast twice, and we started on a Sunday morning and left Thursday morning before breakfast. But, honestly, I don’t know for certain. If you search Chronos in this thread, some people have posted pics from the lounge - not me because I tend to forget to snap any photos.

We arrive on Friday April 14th. I am already counting down the days. Winter here in Minnesota had been well i cannot swear but it starts with a “B”! Looking forward to your review.

My daughter is in Mankato and called me yesterday to complain that it was snowing again. I told her she picked MN for school even though I reminded her that DH and I lived in Minneapolis right after we got married, and we had snow on the ground starting at Halloween and the last of it didn’t melt until Easter. At least she likes the cold!

Did some tweaking on dd’s Bach party. I was invited for the last night but booked 3 because a dear friend wants me to come to meet her grands from one of her kids. I booked the same resort as dd because they had a suite so they would be out of sight.

Dd and I have been talking and with us all stuck at cr in atrium it’s too close for comfort.

I called the number that orginally moved us from BWI to CR, She remembered the situation. It took at least a half an hour. She could NOT understand what I wanted. At the time they notified me I had 2 reservations. 3 nights and 1 night at BWI cl . I asked to get price protected for just 1 night instead of 3 because when they took away their suite it changed the dynamics.

1st she didn’t get that. I tried to explain that you can’t fit 7 females around that tiny table in the room vs a table in a suite. Therefore the girls will in the the lounge and I won’t be comfortable intruding on their time.

Finally after many explanations I did get my 3 nights changed to 1. However the other thing I asked for was to be moved to Tower cl. The 2 queen std room was available that night. It is pretty darn close price wise to the room they gave me. However after going round and round I gave up. The last thing she said was “ma’am just so you understand the Atrium club level IS IN THE TOWER”.

At that point i gave up. How does people that work for a special group to handle issues not know there are 2 club levels at CR? I even tried to explain but that only made it worse.

*** this is the 2nd time I have been moved and price protected by Disney, BOTH times they were very strict. Once you accept an offer they will not move you again.

In the end I thanked her for changing my dates for me but it took so long and it was so frustrating talking to someone so unknowledgeable. She was very friendly and respectful at least.

I then talked with my friend so I’m now gf 4/29 with her. Then cr atrium 4/30 with the girls then me and dd back to gf for our alone time. I was going to do cr GW 4/29 but my friend wants me close and insisted so how do you say no to meeting grands and having time with a friend?

Next up? Looking to book d23 for Sept event.

Yes you can request BWV , GV, king or near lounge are popular requests.

Ok, first of all, “Ma’am, just so you understand the Atrium Club level is in the Tower” should be the new catchphrase for this thread. Did she also tell you about the free newspaper? - kidding, I know she was doing her best. And 2 clubs in one building is confusing in general. The CL rooms at GF are also hard to decipher sometimes.

Second of all, I’m arriving 4/30 afternoonish to tower CL, my only plan that day is to get in Tron and a couple of things at MK between apps and FW, so you should def call back! Alternately, I’m happy to bust you upstairs if you want to give your dd and friends space.

She really was nice and tried to accommodate me but she just couldn’t figure out what I wanted. If you haven’t personally seen the space in a 2 bedroom suite you might not understand why 2 connecting rooms is not the same thing. I think it will turn out ok but not as great as a newly opened lounge and rooms like it would have been at BWI.

I've been researching all day but have a question: can anyone tell me what the evening offerings are? It seems that one evening they offer butter chicken and the tomato soup with paneer cheese. I will be completely happy with that, my DH not so much. Is that all they offer for hot offerings that night? Is it like most CL's where the options change daily? Does anyone know what the other nights's offerings are? Thanks so much!

I know it’s not a free option but I have ordered QS and brought to lounges at times. You still get free beverages and usually something will appeal to you to add to the QS meal.

Example we have ordered flatbreads or just French fries at times. After a busy day sometimes you need junk food.

Been a while, but I stayed at AKL in a 2 BR suite with friends years ago - it’s that private commin space, living/dining room area! DSis and I were looking at 2 CR rooms or a 2 BR CR suite for early Dec, and the cost is about the same, so yeah - suite. I’m sorry about the BWI mess. They’re cranking, but it’s always slower than thought. I have 2 days at GF in early Dec (before the suite) and have half a mind to get a backup at BWI just in case.
