Sure, shoot it over.
Sure, shoot it over.
It's a cream ale (didn't catch the brewer) and I can attest that it rates HIGH on the yum factor (if you are partial to cream ales).Wonderful pics @L.K. , thank you for sharing.
It kills me how infrequently WL CL gets discussed around here since the CCV conversion several years ago. It used to get a lot more attention when it served more than twice its current guest room count.
It also kills me that I tend to overlook WL CL in favor of other spots due to location, because that breakfast and snack spread looks great. What a nice touch with those little plastic cups of snack dip. And that middle snack dark chocolate/white chocolate/m&m mix… yes please.
If you happen to have a moment, what’s on the beer tap these days?
Nope, I mean Club Level. I guess the standard room is really a garden room? It’s my first time at Poly CL. We did YC club level last year and it was a standard room. I guess I just assumed.I assume you mean a non-Club Level room? Just making sure since this is the Club Level thread.

I'm still bummed my WL CL was canceled due to covid. It's such a relaxing resort. I absolutely love the boat to MK.WL Club is one of our favorites. And it is usually the least expensive club levels. We last stayed there in March and I remember the 'dinner' spread being very good - I think some items from Whispering Canyon, you could make a dinner out of that. I also like the location of WL being a bit out of the way, but close enough to catch a boat to Magic Kingdom, then on to any of the other monorail resorts. It's a nice resort to just hang out in and the Club Lounge is great for that.
How was the 'roasted chicken with vegetables'? It looks very bland! I have other questions but my limit is one complaint per postTonight's Old Faithful dining options.
After alllllll this (and so helpful, thanks again), my dad’s admission to care was delayed, and mom can’t commit - so DH is coming with for the one night/after hours adventure. He vetoed CR! I tried hard to explain the allure of Tower Club, but no dice. So we’re at GF RPC. I was looking forward to CRMy wife and I have stayed in every standard room in Tower Club, so I figured I would chime in to give you some info.
Like GADisneyDad14 said, neither of the King rooms are accessible. Getting into the bathroom would be very difficult and the beds are higher. They are very spacious, just a little smaller then the 2 Queen rooms. It does have room for a coach, they have just chosen to make it sleep only 2 (like the Garden Cottages at BWI).
With the 2 Queen rooms, there are 3 total. The 2 on the Bay Lake side are not accessible (similar to the King rooms, but with the 2 beds instead of 1). The Theme Park view room is accessible. It has lowered beds, a walk-in open shower with seating. It also has a mechanical door that opens out instead of in that holds itself open for about 30 seconds. It’s a very nice room, and we have always hated staying in it because we didn’t want to take it away from some one who needed it.
I would say the reason why most people don’t talk about Tower Club is because we don’t want to fight even harder for those rooms. Those of us who stay there every trip have to fight hard enough already and don’t want others knowing all the secrets about it.
It was one of my favorites but I've been eating low sodium so my palate isn't maybe the best benchmark. My travel partner (who is possibly a better judge for most people) said the veggies were really great and how the chicken depends on whether you like poached chicken. How was the 'roasted chicken with vegetables'? Yes, it just looked like boiled chicken. I do better than that on a tired day at home!It was one of my favorites but I've been eating low sodium so my palate isn't maybe the best benchmark. Did I "hear" you correctly??? Lunch has returned?!!!Enjoying our stay at the Innkeepers Club as always. They have tweeked their menu a little. Not as carb heavy as before. The first night we had ratatouille, pork loin and a pizza roll. Last night it was shrimp on a potato with a red pepper sauce, eggplant parm bites and Mac and cheese. The usual salads and cheeses were also available. Lunch had the return of delicious sandwiches, which made my husband very happy. Tonight I know they will be having meatball sliders, but we are off to the Christmas Party, so won’t be around.
