There was some talk about it, but we were there 10 days in November and never saw one. But I will say it was on my mind while walking around. I think it started with a story of a kid that got bitten by a snake there. But I've seen reports here and there at CSR to. We've stayed at all the moderates and never once saw a snake. I would not worry at all about it, but just keep it in mind as you are walking to always stay on the pavement, no shortcuts.
I think it would be so cool to see snakes! We love animals. The kids would love it. No worries.
It's Florida...there are snakes and other creepy crawlers on property. With that said, we have seen 2 snakes in all of our stays, including one very small one last visit in September 2015.
Obviously. I just didn't know if there was a specific incident that sparked it.It's this little thing called the Internet.
we just slid the 2 chairs from the table backwards and it made a great bed rail.
My point being that these things don't have to have any basis in reality and yet they go viral. You can confidently inform your BIL that CBR does not have a snake infestation. He will have as much of a chance of seeing one at CBR as anywhere else on WDW property.
As @wdw4rfam stated a boy was bitten by a snake at CBR. It was 10 years ago and he went into a bush looking for a ball that bounced in there.
