We're just back from an 8 night stay at CBR. We've stayed there before but not for several years. I liked the new furniture in the rooms, especially the fact that each nightstand has outlets and USB ports built in, and there were outlets and USB ports on either side of the entertainment center, or whatever it's called. Sure beats trying to look behind the bed or other furniture hoping to find a free outlet. And having six drawers for clothing was nice - DH and I each had three drawers, which was plenty for us. One thing I didn't like was the lighting over the bed. It's one long fixture that stretches the width of the bed, so even if one side is turned off, the light is pretty bright for the person on the other side. Would much prefer individual lamps on each side And it was especially annoying that the light switches for both sides of the light over the bed were on the same side of the king sized bed, which makes no sense. I didn't have access to the light switch for the light over my side of the bed. The fridge had a large footprint, but it had a rather surprisingly small amount of interior space, and no freezer . We could fit a gallon of water by removing or raising the top shelves, but the inside space is quite shallow, and there's no storage space at all in the door - it's just a clear plexiglass door. The thermostat won't go any lower than 68, which wasn't an issue for us. Mousekeeping was good every day, and they promptly brought the extra blanket that we requested and kept our soap and shampoo well stocked. Buses were great, and we never waited more then 15 minutes for a bus to any park. We were in Jamaica, which is usually the first bus stop. Very convenient on busy mornings because you're virtually guaranteed a seat. There were times when the bus would fill completely and couldn't pick up any more people after a few stops and had to bypass the last couple stops. We usually ate breakfast at the food court and occasionally found it fairly crowded, but there were always seats to be had, and they open up the Shutters dining room for more space if necessary. We used the quiet pool several evenings, and it really is quiet. There were never more than a handful of people there, and those with children stay in the shallower end, so adults can have the other end more or less to themselves.
