I'd think it would be less travel time if you did AK, HS, Epcot, MK. Also makes sense typically based on the hours they are open. If you don't have young kids I'd plan FP+ for HS. AK until after lunch since I don't like HS food too much, HS for afternoon, Epcot right at dinner and a couple hours after that and then finish with fireworks at MK. :) Or leave AK earlier than lunch and do cupcakes for lunch at HS!! LOL

Thanks! This sounds perfect. It's just my 15 year old daughter and I on this special girls only trip. We might not stay at AK long enough for lunch, it's her least favorite park and I know my daughter has several must do's at HS so we might make our FP+. I think since it's just the 2 of us instead of the typical 7 of us it should be a nice change of pace.

Any CBR experts? Do they do anything for Halloween? POR has a wonderful party with Tiana and Louis, just wondering if CBR does that as well or maybe we'll drive to POR that night..lol

They have had parties in the past so I would think they still do. Tigger and Donald were there the last time we were at CBR on Halloween.

Thanks! You made my day. My little DD would love to see Tigger and I just don't want to do CP, and his lines at MK are long. That would be awesome!

We've never taken the Magical Express and I was wondering what resorts usually share with the CBR bus? Does it vary much? I just want to know what to expect as far as how many resorts it might be stopping at.

Pooh & Tigger are fairly easy to see at Epcot. They are in the back of the UK pavilion and are so far back that there is not really a line!

Yes! We had a true old fashion character meeting in the UK pavilion with Tigger and Pooh. We ran into them while shopping in the UK. They both so naturally interacted with my daughter. They took her hand and started spinning her around and dancing. It was priceless. It was what you see in the commercials.

Hi everyone!!! Two questions!!!

1) This will be the first time we have a car EVER at WDW, but wanted the flexibility this trip. So I will be popping into Target to grab some snacks, breakfast food, water and sunscreen, instead of ordering VIA Garden Grocer this time. My question, is there a Target near by?? Where would I find it. Off chance that there's a costco as well?

2) My DDs were SO upset about missing out on Magical Express....so my hubby will take them on ME while I pick up the car and drive it there. Question. Can HE check us in (reservation is under my account, but he is obviously a guest listed)? We are Canadian, so we have to pick up our Magic Bands at the front desk. He was going to swim with the girls while I do the Target run. I would love to drive straight from the airport to Target without stopping to check them in first. But I will if I have to.

Thanks for any input!!!

Google Maps tells me the closest Target is here:
2709 Great Harbor Ln
Kissimmee, FL 34746

26 minute drive from airport, 15 minutes from Target to CBR.

There is a Cosco here:
2101 Waterbridge Blvd, Orlando, FL 32837-9283

17 minutes from airport, 20 minutes from Cosco to CBR.

I don't know about Target, but we always go to Publix for groceries and such. There's one pretty close to WDW on Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy (there's also a Chick-fil-A there, which makes a great before-park breakfast!)

Hello everyone! My family and my sister's family will checking in this Saturday. We are so excited. This is also my first stay at this resort and so I'm excited to explore someplace new. So my question to everyone is how can I confirm if our rooms will be connected? Can I fax a request? I did get something in an email stating how I could report directly to the room and not have to check in so I'm not sure what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

THank you..I have NEVER had chick-fil-a and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about this!! We will try dinner and breakfast!! lol

I just wanted to say that my fiance and I just stayed at Caribbean Beach a few weeks ago and loved it! (I even preferred Caribbean Beach over French Quarter, where we stayed on our last trip.) It was so nice having the quiet pools as well as the main pool to choose from. The hammocks were also great! We sat in a hammock in the Martinique area one night and watched the Epcot fireworks. I would also say don't worry about the resort being spread out; I was afraid it would be too spread out, but we walked the whole way around the resort and it didn't take long at all.

I know that there have been questions about fax requests being honored. I used the Touring Plans fax service and got the room two doors down from the one I requested so it seems that they do work.

Haha, awesome! It's our favorite (and pretty much only) fast food restaurant we eat at. I send dh to pick up breakfast while I get the kids ready for the parks and for dinner while I give the kids baths :teeth:

Thank You for the recommendation as well. After tinkering with Day 4 and Day 6, we have settled in on:
Sunday: Cape May
Monday: Shutters (Food has gotten much better since our first trip)
Tuesday: Grand Floridian Cafe
Wednesday: 1900 Park Fair (breakfast), Wolfgang Puck, Downtown Disney (QS meal)
Thursday: Tony's Town Square...love that place
Friday: Coral Reef

Only eating at parks 2 days. Once we discovered other places/resorts without our kids, it opened up a whole new world of restaurants. Much of what we have chosen came from friends and this board. Also doing Keys to the Kingdom tour on Thursday. Our kids, \nowr 21 and 20...one in the Army and one in college. No more rushing around and no more trying to hit every ride. Have gleaned much info from these boards on the last 2 trips and now this trip and it has been well used.
Love our kids too (24 and 25yo) but our last 3 Disney trips have been outstanding sans children ;) We just got back from a long European tour less than a month ago and felt some serious vacation blues ( miraculously cured by a planned disney trip in 119 days)..... we want to do the KTTK tour also! I loved the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour in Disneyland Dec 2013 and we took a Christmas tour Dec 2012 at WDW......so much fun!

Since we are going during party times and during the last few days of the F&W festival we figured we will try our challenge on a Wednesday when there is no party and the festival is done. Not sure what type of a challenge we are going to do, mostly we just want to try a few rides and maybe a snack or meal at each part, maybe we'll throw in a character meet & great too, we are kind of boring.

We've done rope drop at MK and EPCOT but have never done rope drop at AK or HS, which one would folks recommend?
We did RD at AK and it was fun! If I remember correctly you have to walk behind the rope but we detoured a little thru Dino land (?) And made it to Expedition Everest before the rope did.....made it on the first train.
