Trick or treating in Community Hall, lobby, and on the Boardwalk across from gift shop! It was fun. But it's Bring Your Own Bag. Last time I was here on Halloween, two years ago, they gave out free bags.Halloween party on the Village Green! Adorable!

We leave early Friday morning (hopefully!) so relaxing this morning, here are our thoughts on our first stay at Boardwalk Inn.
Overall - we loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a great room (pics earlier in thread) and it's resort view, so that's amazing!
Overall vibe is fun/lively. People out and about all day long. Yes, the DVC side is quiet, but the Inn side had people sitting, eating along the Boardwalk day and night. Weekends were hopping!
We saw the entertainment Friday to Monday. Nothing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
We absolutely adore the new rooms. Cheerful, updated yet still feels like "Boardwalk era".
Love the outdoor seating at Belle Vue.
Housekeeping has been great. In fact if they came by our room and do not disturb was out, they called us to schedule a time to come. Often we had someone come around/after 5. Her name is Dora and she is the best!!!
Trattoria still has best breakfast around!
Corn dogs fun.
I will scare some people, but I actually found the Pizza Window pretty darn good at 11pm!
Unfortunately the quick service breakfast is a bit lacking, but that's our only complaint.
We are surprised to say we think we liked it here better than Beach Club, which is our usual go to. Hope to stay here again one day!
So what was your room request? We had a wonderful room last time super close to the lobby/elevator and I requested it again this year, but now I want this view lol.Oh we got our room request for our resort view facing village green. Fantastic!!! Extra large balcony too.

Are you asking about the Luna Park Pool be closed for maintenance? That is not scheduled until Jan. 11, 2027 thru April 2027.What is the pool closure schedule? We will be there the last week of January. Having the pool open is not important, but I'd hate to lose that shortcut to HS. I hope that access is still available.

Facing village Green - we were on third floor! Resort view - Inn side.
oops....I remember reading "January" and didn't look back to check for specifics. Thanks for clearing up this very minor concern. We have not been to WDW for 3 years, so I will move on to other valid concerns! Are you asking about the Luna Park Pool be closed for maintenance? Thanks for the information. I have updated my room request from near the lobby to overlooking the village green. fingers crossed! This will be our third stay at Boardwalk and have had great rooms every time (keep getting closer and closer to the lobby lol). Thank you @japanese maple as well!!!!@titansgal as @japanese maple indicated the key request is to Face the Village Green. It is the Green space between the Inn and the Villas.
These Resort view rooms are on floors 3-5, and there are about 25 of these room spread across the 3 floors. These rooms start right near the Elevators and head toward the boardwalk, and the Water View rooms.

Well, guess what - the rooms overlooking the Village Green are also close to the lobby, so if you get your request, you'll have both desires met!I have updated my room request from near the lobby to overlooking the village green.
