Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

We were pixie-dusted Boardwalk view our last trip (had reserved Garden/Pool) and were on the 5th floor in front of that basketball game and we could still hear all the bricks people were throwing, followed by the immediate "ohhhhh!!" We needed to put on a white noise App to drown out.
I'm sorry but that sounds so hilarious to me. I get where it would be super annoying though.

Yeah it wasn't that annoying but persistent and the white noise did it's job...and it seemed to be later than 10pm but who knows..we went start to finish each day with a swim break and crashed pretty hard...would I stay in that room again? Hell yeah!

When I was there 2 weeks ago, I was sitting out on the balcony watching the fireworks. Between the game and one of the boardwalk acts, it was really loud but when I closed the door, I really didn’t notice it. I was on the 4th floor.

One of the reasons we like BW view rooms is the noise. It just adds to the whole theme and ambiance. From the boat horns to the games, entertainment, and people on the boardwalk. Its why it is our home resort.
It is my favorite too..I was just providing some insight that if you desire peace and quiet to maybe stay away from the basketball game...but i also have a psychosis where I need white noise to sleep...and those basketballs clanging and the the reactions required the blasting of the app...personal preference.

Stayed in Boardwalk villas a couple weeks ago, loved it but it was the noisiest room I've stayed in not just in Disney but anywhere. Could hear every conversation in the hallway and hear every door slam shut.

Wasn't a massive issue but wondered if anyone else found this at BW

Were you in a Studio or another type of Villa? I have had this issue at BWV as well as many other Resorts around the world. Guests on Vacation don't seem to know they are sharing a common hallway with others.

Stayed in a studio, like I said it wasn't a massive issue for me as I'm an early riser anyway but It was really noticeable (more than usual) that you could hear everyone leave thier rooms.

We were on the second floor above the Screen Door. The nightly acts would set up right below our balcony. Literally right below it, not across from it or even a few feet away. It was very loud most nights and had a negative impact on the enjoyment of our room.

For anyone who is interested, it was rooms 2043 (the 1BR) and 2045 (the studio).

I'm curious, how late do these acts run? And are they nightly?

We booked resort view, so won't be an issue for us (and we are up pretty late). Although I will use Touring Plans to request one of the resort views that have a view of the village green (Inn side, not DVC), fingers crossed we get lucky! I'm sure I'm one of a million trying for those. 😂

I seem to recall a TV in Bellevue Lounge. When the Yankees played the field of Dreams game it was on there.
This is true however was told by the bartender last month when I was looking for a particular game that whoever gets there first gets to control the TV channel … suggestion would be to beat the hallmark channel party crowd to the remote
