I’ve walked by the new hot dog stand a few times during daylight hours now and haven’t seen any sign of activity.

Thanks for your update. I only wish Blue Ribbon had done their part and actually opened.

Maybe it is a Blue Ribbon marketing ploy to drum up a pent up demand for when they bother to open at some random date in the future. I still have my bet in for an Oct.1st opening date.

We ordered from the pizza place Giordano’s we over ordered. For the 2 of us a large lasted 3 days! We should have done Small.

Yes but only on Wednesday Morning at 9 - 9:30 on the Village Green. The Village Green is the large green space behind the Surrey Bike Pavilion off the Boardwalk toward the Boardwalk Lobby area.

No it does not participate in the refillable mug program.

In it's early days there was a Fountain Machine located there while the Boardwalk Bakery was being retrofitted to become the Boardwalk Bakery.

Thanks for the updated but we have been this far before. I claimed they took the planters away for a trim since they returned a few days later looking Fabulous...

Wanted to add to this, as it appears the interior kitchen appliances have finally been added.

Planters Around Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Removed at Disney’s Boardwalk​

The planters have been removed from around the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand at Disney’s Boardwalk, giving us a full look at the rethemed location. This isn’t the first time that we’ve received an unobstructed view of what was previously BoardWalk To Go. In June, the walls around the building were removed. However, planters were then implemented so that work could continue on the interior and exterior of the location.


The exterior of the building doesn’t look much different than it did in our June update. The only major updates were the installation of a fire alarm and the locations’ menu is now next to the “Order” window on one side of the kiosk. We were able to spot the menu through the planters in July.

The menu shares many similarities with Blue Ribbon Corn Dog in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. However, the new Walt Disney World location will feature more corn dog variations, cotton candy, and lemonade.



With the walls down we were able to sneak a peek inside the location. This was our first time getting a look at the space and appliances inside of the stand. Everything looks to be in the proper place, with no noticeable construction materials. Perhaps this means that we will be getting an official opening date for Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs soon.

When we visited in November 2022, we had the most magical experience right in the grassy area of the Boardwalk. Donald, Chip n' Dale, and Goofy all popped up and we were able to do photos and chat.

I saw this a few times this past February when I was at BWV. Don’t recall which characters though.

You will definitely find them out and about, usually over on the Village Green or in the lobby during inclement weather. I do not believe there’s any set schedule.

Wanted to report a post I saw on FB. Someone is currently at Boardwalk and saw workers outside the hotdog stand. She inquired about when it will be open, and they stated next week. Obviously, take it with a grain of salt, but I guess we shall see!

We visited two weeks ago. One day we walked through the BW lobby area and just happened to meet Pluto and Goofy. I believe Donald or Daisy was there as well. They were walking around and posing for photos and my kids didn’t have to wait more than a min or two to meet them.

I have a room overlooking the corn dog stand and have been monitoring the situation closely. While the stand itself still has closed windows and curtains, my wife just spotted prepared corn dogs coming out of the stand and being consumed by a handful of folks. Looks like maybe a cast member or influencer preview is going on. I’ve also spotted a suit nearby and a couple workers(?) are still inspecting things with the stand itself.
