The games you can find on any boardwalk in NJ; they just threw the name Boardwalk on the top (and jacked up the price Disney-style :


Dirty water dogs would make some serious money... include a cooler of bottled waters/beers with chips people would pay....kids love hot dogs!

Hell, put it in that empty corn dog stand!

So I just booked a resort view room at Boardwalk Inn. I'm just realizing that we could get 2 queens OR a king. We really want 2 queens. It is just my husband and I, but he's a twitcher, kicker, and snorer, so we really need our own beds. How do I make it the most likely we get queens?

OH ALSO, apparently not all garden view rooms have balconies?? Is that also a request I need to make?

How do I make it the most likely we get queens?

Put in a request by calling now, checking again in about 1 week to make sure your request is noted on your reservation. Or you could force it by adding 3 children to your reservation if you are not on a package.

Yes. All villas are either refurbed or in process of being refurbed (and therefore not available for guests). Have fun!

Was coming here to ask this. We have a 1br booked in a few weeks, and I was wondering if we'd get a refurbed room or not. Thank you!

Exterior Painting Under Way at The Cake Bake Shop

While the building maintains the familiar hexagonal shape of the ESPN Club, modifications were perhaps more extensive than originally planned. Over the past couple of years, the facility seems to have been virtually torn down and rebuilt.

Exterior finishes are still being completed on portions of the building while others are being painted. Initially slated to open in 2023, the eatery was later delayed to 2024. And with the year now more than half over, an opening estimate has yet to be revealed.

Also coming to the BoardWalk is Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. To the naked eye, the building appears to be fully renovated. Signage is in place, including an order pickup window visible on the side. However the building remains hidden behind planters on the BoardWalk with no indication of when it will open.

A few months ago, we were JOKING that at this rate, Blue Ribbon may not be open before our fall trip...now I think that may have been too hopeful.

years ago we stayed at Boardwalk in a garden view room and got the most amazing room with a partial boardwalk view and we could see spaceship earth and the Epcot fireworks.
I can't afford that this time so just had to go for the standard view.
A few question: do the standard view rooms still have the 5th sleeper? do they have a balcony? what kind of view will I be likely to get? Going for 7 nights from May 18th 2025 (renting points)

Yes all BWV DVC rooms have a balcony or patio (1st floor). Yes there is still a fold down single in addition to the Queen and the Queen Murphy bed.

If you have a standard "Deluxe Studio", these rooms are mostly on the front of the resort and on the south end overlooking a retention pond with a fountain and the parking lot.

Rumor is they removed the planters when Iger and company were touring around WDW a couple weeks ago and them put them back after he was gone. I don't know if was actually there but I have read that the Boardwalk is his favorite resort so I guess they wanted to Potemkin Village the place for him.
