Yes it was classified as a standard room. I also pulled up the TP room finder and there are a handful of other rooms in this area and they're all categorized as standard studios.

I watched some boardwalk tour videos and one was a month ago.
I saw this really nice t shirt i would love to have when I go, but it looked to be DVC only.....
Are there Boardwalk shirts for non DVC?

There definitely was one for non DVC when we were there at the end of July - my DH got it in the little shop off the lobby but I had also seen it in the Screen Door.

There are non DVC shirts..I saw a few..not alot of variety in Screen Door/Thimbles and Threads last month...I'll take a look through my pictures..and will gladly post a sidways pic for you ...lol.. if I took one...

Guests looking for sustainable seafood and prime steaks may soon be able to once again dine at Flying Fish. The restaurant, located at Disney's Boardwalk is rumored to open in September. Flying Fish features an open kitchen, allowing guests to watch chefs prepare dishes like Hokkaido scallops, Sardinian seafood pasta, and char-crusted New York strip. Although the restaurant has been closed since March 2020, a menu is still available online."

....one of my FAVORITE places to eat...

So exciting! I went to a soft opening in 2016 when they were testing out various menu items and haven't been back since! Was really hoping it would be open for our January trip.

This is the only picture that I seem to have..and this...as you can see was in Dundy's Sundries..but the same two shirts were also available at Screen Door...the ladies says Boardwalk on it..and the mens Aracracadabar...they were a nice weight..cannot remember the cost..

@kimmar067 I sure hope that is true..Flying Fish fan here too...really missed it in our recent trip...I'll be keeping an eye out to see if reservations open for our fall trip...

@LadyTramp94....Jelly Rolls opening would really be fantastic..hopefully soon!! But I've not heard anything at all about that..or the wonderful entertainment..

Somebody on another thread posted some great directions on how to keep your pictures from posting sideways. I think it was the Here Now Just Back thread. There were 3 things you could do.

1) Look at the photo on your phone. Take a screenshot of the photo. Post the screenshot.

2) Duplicate the image on your phone and edit it slightly, such as cropping it a little. Post the new copy.

3) Go on a computer and use an app such as Photos/Photoshop/Paint/GIMP to open the image. Do a "Save as" a new file. You don't need to edit it or anything. Post the "save as" photo.

I‘m just guessing that because Jellyrolls is basically a sing along type bar it may not be conducive to wearing a mask. Other bars are open on the BW, Abracadabpar and Belle Vue, but they are just bars.

Boardwalk Bakery for the mugs

Do you know if you can refill them yourself now, or are they still doing the paper cup thing? I seem to remember you couldn't directly refill the mugs earlier this summer. (I apologize if this has been addressed recently!)

@BlueSkies, your pics are great and I just wanted to say that I understand about the difficulties posting the pics! We actually stayed at BWI a few weeks ago and I had a long post with pics all set to post here, but I ran into so much difficulty with the pics that I gave up. Now, I have some time, so I'm going to go back and do it my old way and email the pics to my PC and edit to fix them.

The reason my party chose the Boardwalk is, my mom used to go to the Jersey boardwalk every year so it made the most sense. Plus it being so close to Epcot made it a no brain decision.

@LadyTramp94 I enjoy all of the wonderful details in the BW lobby... well..not all...lol..(I have already voiced my opinion about the creepy nanny chairs!! Lol) ..including the Lucy the Elephant! And her Jersey Shore history! For many many years I was a tried and true GF gal and stayed mostly nowhere else..but if not the GF..definitely a MK/monorail resort...and then...we tried the BWI...and I was so won over! Also decided to spread my wings and tried the BC and the YC too...for us..BC one and done..glad we tried it tho..and .we'd definitely return to the YC..but the BW is our favorite! I think it really has the most detailed theming..and some of the best CMs on property too...and not that we don't still enjoy the GF...we enjoy the BW..and actually the whole Epcot/ Crescent Lake area and vibe so much more..

@PirateNovelist I don't recall ..is this your first BWI stay?? If so..you are definitely in for a treat!
Anyone heard any word on ESPN Club returning?? My DH loved just poping in there for an afternoon break (maybe from myself and the whole family..lol!!)..and some sports and a drink and some wings...more important is Flying Fish...I keep on checking...
