Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

There are a couple of big urns of coffee in the Lounge in the morning. You can use your refillable mug to get that coffee. That's the only one of your questions I can answer.

Great, thanks!

I think that post was referring to the in room pizza deal. I do not know if you can do that at the Boardwalk pizza window but I do know you can get a slice, a bag of chips or side salad and a drink for 1 CS credit.
I think the coffee menu would read - regular or decaf :)
I don't believe there are specialty coffees at Bellevue lounge. You can refill your coffee mug as Sandi mentioned and you can use snack credits to get muffins, cinnamon buns and bagels.

ETA: Boardwalk Joe's has specialty coffees but I don't know if you can use snack credits for them. You do have to walk outside onto the Boardwalk to get your coffee though.

Oh, OK. We stayed at WL and the lounge they put in had specialty coffees that were awesome. No big deal though, I normally prefer my coffee with just cream anyway.

Yes, you can get a whole pizza, 2 drinks and 2 desserts for 2 CS credits at the pizza window!

Great deal!

At the Bellevue Lounge, the urns had labels with a couple of blends available. I don't drink coffee, so I didn't note it as closely as I wish I did now. I went down there early to get some work done before DH got out of bed. I want to say one was "Seashore Blend" or something like that. I believe the decaf was behind the bar. There was no latte or cappuccino, but people seemed to be choosing between a couple blends of coffee. Plenty of cream, sugar, etc. (I just returned on Tuesday -- so this was pretty recent.)

Big coffee drinker here...

Sandi Good memory..the regular coffee was offered was called Seashore Blend..and it was very good..

Decaf coffee did not have the particular blend listed..just Decaf...lol...during our trip earlier this month..and also a trip earlier this year..both decaf and regular were available on a serving table with all accompaniments..sugar, milk, half & half..and a non dairy creamer too...

There actually is an espresso machine behind the bar..which I had never noticed...till I saw someone order one...its kind of tucked away..and you can get espresso and capuchino as well I believe...there are also coffee flavorings..there was a bottle of french vanilla, Irish creme and almond too...these are placed on the bar itself...not out at the coffee station... going to see if I have any pics of them to share...

Thanks for the pic! Makes me think it might be nice to pop down in the morning with mugs and take back to room. can somebody tell me which floor the lounge is on. I've stayed at BWI once 5 years ago, didn't go to the Bellevue, but it seems like maybe it was one floor up from the lobby?

Here's a photo from a different angle (we go here all the time). The Bellevue Lounge is right off the lobby. Come through the doors (from the outside front) and turn right. Keep walking a short distance.

We are arriving at BWV in 8 days!!

A few questions/clarifications to make things easier!!

Do we walk to both HS and Epcot? Is there more than one way into epcot? And then bus to MK and AK?

Where can we use our refillable mugs in the morning? Anywhere with brewed iced tea?

Any other advice for a first-timer appreciated, Thank you!!

You can walk to Epcot and HS or you can take the boat to either. The walk to Epcot is much shorter than to HS.

There are two entrances to Epcot, but only one is accessible from the Boardwalk (boat and walking). To get to main entrance you need to drive.

Have to take bus to MK and AK

Is there a map or something that lists the room numbers and where they are located please?

HERE is Touring Plans room view finder for Boardwalk Inn, which shows you room numbers when you click on them. It's what I use when trying to figure out where certain things are at a resort. Click on the building, and you can fill in your room category on the left, and use the drop down menu to pick your floor :-):-)
There might be an easier way, but I'm not sure. I don't have a Touring Plans subscription, but it might be more detailed if you do, I have no idea.

*editing to add, just saw Music City Mama had the same idea!

So we added another day to the front of our trip, now arriving on 12/16...our "short" 5 night stay has now morphed into a 7 night stay. Oh, the sacrifices we make for being able to fly out of our home airport 20 minutes away, and not drive hours to a larger one, LOL!!

You can get this on the Touring Plans website:

Great thread, thanks for all the information. Staying at BWV as part of a split stay in September. First time since 2003 or so. We had Boardwalk view then, now we have the other (garden? I don't remember what DVC calls it, but not standard). Would it be too many requests if we ask for top floor and view of the clown pool? I seriously like that pool.

Quick question about the doors to the rooms at BWI, are they metal? I ask because we are celebrating our daughter's graduation and I have a mickey magnet that I would like to place on the door if it is.

For the first time, I am going to do online check-in! We have a Preferred Studio - Garden/Pool View booked for July. I know I am definitely going to request an "Upper Floor," but I am trying to decide if I want to also request "Pool View" or just make the one request and leave the rest to chance. Any thoughts?

This article says "no". However, I wonder about that because we stay at the Boardwalk and we use magnets on the doors all the time

We will be trying the Deluxe CL rooms the first week of Dec. and I am hoping you guys can answer a few questions. We have stayed many times at the BWI CL but never the deluxe rooms. I think they have three of them on the third floor and three of them on the fourth floor but do they both have the larger balconies? I want to request a room on the fourth floor so that we are on the same floor as the lounge area and inside the Inn Keepers doors but I thought I saw something somewhere that said the rooms on the third floor had the larger balconies and the ones on the fourth floor had balconies the same size as the standard CL rooms. Anyone?
