Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Part II)

Are there any good links to show me what the food court looks like and a preview of the menu??

easywdw.com has a ton of them. I'd post the exact link but I'm on my phone. Just search for Art of Animation on the site

Surprise trip for my kiddos the week of Easter. Lion King suite. So excited

While we only need the LM section, I'm sure that you're going to love the LK section. As a nature lover, I know that I'm going to enjoy walking through the lush foliage and green shade trees that they are putting into the LK section; it looks like it's going to be just beautiful. I can't wait until it's open and we can see all of the details of it. We have less than 4 months to go! :beach:

Almost at the 100 day mark! We're so excited! Staying in the LM rooms. We were happy to hear that there was a drink station near the LM section. We were worried that we were so far from the food court! We cannot wait!!!:)

Just booked for a short trip November 17-20. We stayed at the Dolphin in June and wanted to go for the Christmas decorations, but not break the bank by taking a second trip in the same year. I was SOOO excited when a LM standard room opened up for our dates!! :thumbsup2 I'd love to know about the drink station too! Also, I noticed that only "standard room" was an option. Are there pool/lake view rooms specifically, or are those just requests? Thanks!!

When we booked our rooms, we were talking to the CM about how far the food court was from our room. We said good thing we are driving our cars we can drive to the food out for our coffee! Then she said, there's a drink station & laundry area in the LM section. Disney thought about that! woohoo!!! We were worried about our morning coffee. We like to have it while we're getting dressed in the morning. That's what we were told so we'll see!!!

Wow! Thanks for Sharing that! I was starting to think i was never going to get a chance to use the refillable mug. Lol

Extra drink stations would be great....I was just saying the other day I wish they would think about putting a drink station at each pool like they had at Big Blue???? Really nice after a long day to get a cold drink without having to go all the way back to the front...

Someone earlier in the thread had mentioned an aggravation with the air conditioner turning off at night because of lack of motion, and during the day too. Has anyone recently had that problem? Did the fix help? Also, are there fans available?

Great info, thanks! Curious though about what the "drink station" would consist of. How would they "enforce" refillable mugs rules? A cast member would have to be present I would think. Unless the mugs had that chip system they were testing which I have heard about branching out beyond testing mode. We shall see!

Don't think they have this problem anymore. They have moved to wall mounted thermostats (thought some units are still the ones that are under the window that used to be motion controlled)

In all the times we have been and all the resorts we have stayed at, we have never had an issue with the AC, except I can get it way too cold for DH.

Two words... helium balloon. Get a balloon and put it within site of the thermostat but also in the path of the flow of air. Someone taught us this trick many Disney visits ago. We always use this now.
