Question on LM rooms - on the map they look far from the main bldg and bus stop...has anyone been there and walked around? I'm hoping the distance is shorter when we are there...I know some resorts are so huge that it's a 10 minute walk to your room

Lm will not open until Sept. as of now Nemo and cars are sections open .

People on different sites have measured it somehow and determined it is about a 1/4 of a mile. I read on disboards it seems like it will be a 5 min. walk. It was compared to a building at Pop's distance to the bus stop but I don't know which bldg.

Of our cbr stay in October, guessing all those swapping for free dining instead

They are still fenced off, or were at the beginning of June, but as a PP said, they looked to be about a 5 minute walk from the bus stops.

YEAH! Thank you to whoever canceled their LM room on 12/6! I've been checking many times a day for a couple weeks to add that one more night. What a surprise to finally see that option come up this time!

9 nights in a row there! Now, if only my legs can withstand all that walking......

On another note, 114 days until AoA!

We stayed offsite last time and although the hotel was okay I really wanted to stay onsite this time. I know DH will let me know if he feels this resort is more inconvienent that the offsite location

This is from my Online Disney Reservation statement:

See that's good to know, because when I went back to look at my paperwork I printed off of my email reservation confirmation, it did say "Family Suite". It did not denote a specific theme, even though I *know* I clicked the Nemo suite. That's where the problem probably came in. It makes sense to me now but I never noticed it nor would I on the paperwork.

I know some people think it will be a long walk, but I think we'll be fine with it. Besides, we will pass so many interesting things and when we have the stroller, we will just push DD to make it faster. I am lucky, DH told me to do whatever I want, and that is exactly what I am doing (ADRs, resort, days we go to which parks). I think it's because he hates Disney. He said it is not the happiest place on earth.

He's right. WDW is the Most Magical Place on Earth! I do hope you have a wonderful time. My DH generally stays home because it isn't his favorite place to be and we have more fun without him. However, my kids are grown and can handle themselves. (kinda )

That's funny! I don't think it is the happiest place on earth, BUT after we go, I bet I will say it is the most magical. I always said we would never ever go there, because I will not pull DD out of school (once she starts) to go nor will I go during busy times. So, we are going in Oct., when she is four, and will likely not return. It will most likely be a one time trip and next time we take a large trip, it will be somewhere else.

We will be staying in a Cars suite for 3 Days (Nov 22-25) before moving over to the Beach Club. I'm so excited to stay here, my boys are HUGE Cars fans, and so am I (LOVE Radiator Springs!!). However I'm a little nervous as well, we got spoiled by staying at Beach Club last Nov. Being able to walk to 2 parks and not depend on the bus for everything was a HUGE plus for us, especially since we like to park hop!
Also, is therea jogging/walking path around the resort? I am up VERY early and like to explore with my camera while the world is quiet.
