If we arrive at the resort around 10:00 a.m., would we be able to check in and get our room keys and all vouchers/ paperwork? Even if our room isn't ready?

Yes, you would be able to check in then. They will hold your luggage if your room is not ready. They will call or text you when your room is ready. I would recommend online check in for an early arrival. However, when we checked out a little after 7am there were people checking in. Your vouchers should come with your Mickey mail prior to traveling.

We checked in about 10:00 and we were not able to do online check in for some reason, but the room was ready. Even if it's not, they will give you all your keys with tickets and dining whenever you check in. Sometimes they tell you the building you're in with a map and if you give them a cell #, they will call you with the room number when it's available.

I highly recommend online check in. All your documents are printed up and ready to go - you just pick them up at the online check-in desk and you're on your way!

If your room is not ready and you leave your luggage with the bellhop - will they deliver it to your room?

How far ahead can you check in online? And if we booked our package through a travel agent can we still check in online?

10 days prior to check in. You should be able to do it regardless of who you booked through! Go online to the WDW website and enter in your confirmation number and it should pop up and tell you when you can check in online.

I don't believe the deliver it automatically when the room is ready, but when you get to your room, you can call for it.

They did for me, but I also had luggage coming over as a transfer from another resort as well, so when that arrived the brought what I had stored and the transfer luggage all over at the same time.

When we checked into Port Orleans in September our room was not ready, but we were able to get our keys and do all the paperwork. The hotel called about 2 hours later to give us our room number. It should be the sane here hopefully.

We leave Tuesday for our first AOA Cars suite stay! So exciting. I have never done online check in. How exactly does it work? You do it online with your confirmation number and then what happens when you get there to the resort? Is there much to do around the resort? Like a half a day worth of stuff? Swimming? Photo opps with Cars characters. I want to give us time to look around and enjoy the resort, but will probably be itching to be in a park! Not long now ... :)

Which room numbers are on the bottom and closest to the food court?

There are 3 Cars buildings - 1, 2 and 3. 1 and 3 are the closest to the food court. The room numbers on the bottom floors start with 1501 and 3501. I'm not sure which end those start on though. You don't want the end near building #2 if you want to be close to the food court.

We were in room 1531 on the first floor of building 1 with a pool view. We thought it was a great room!

I have another question, what is the policy on late check out? Is it even available? How would we do it?

You have to call down to the front desk about 7am on the morning of check out and ask, but they usually only give you until 12 or 1, if anything at all.

When we stayed, I let them know the night before.

Whenever we would call the night before they said we had to call back the next morning to see what check in looked like and I didn't tell them, I had to ask.

When we stayed, I asked about it mid week while I was at the concierge desk picking up our luau tickets. She looked at that time and confirmed a 1pm checkout for us (and it was for a Saturday). Before she looked she said she could run a query and it would be be either approved or not approved- so we lucked out.

We asked at check-in. CM put inquiry into computer and about a minute later he said we were approved for a 1:00 checkout.

How much extra does a late check out cost?

We stayed in 3538 (Bldg. 3, Luigi) which is on the bottom floor and very close to Animation Hall. From my room map, it looks like the bottom floors are 15xx, 25xx and 35xx.
