Mouseteps has new pics up of the Lion King section:

Thanks for the photos!:thumbsup2

now I wonder if I should refrain so that I can be surprised. Anyone else out there as strange as me?

You're not strange at all, SSP! I look at the photos, but I do it very quickly! :lmao: It's good to have some surprises. I don't think that we'll spoil it for ourselves; we'll be knocked off of our feet when we see it for real.

I was actually just thinking this morning that I'm not as excited about AoA as I have been the past couple years, and I think it's b/c now I've seen all of the pictures. When they first announced they were going to build this, I would have sold a kidney to get there. Now I'm thinking "eh..... maybe we don't *have* to stay there...." :confused3

See above comment to SSP! Seeing it in real life will win you over. ;)

Wha? From everything I have read and seen, pics don't do it justice and we are getting more excited :jumping3: every time someone posts pics.

OMG, me too, Marblies! I don't want to see all of the details of the LM section, but I can't help but to look and I went nuts when I saw the 'ship lantern' light poles! Aren't they great? My gosh, we're going to feel like we're really 'Under the Sea'!

Thank you, Tiffany!

Those are great! Thanks for posting! I am so excited that I think I'm going to go out of my mind before I get there!!!:crazy2: I just wish that our whole stay could be spent there! I think that it'll be a let down going from there for 5 nights & then switching over to POP for 2. Oh, well I'll still be at Disney, right? That's all that matters!:lmao:

Besides, you can always cross the bridge and come and visit with us! It won't be far!!! :thumbsup2

Once you get to parks - where are the bus stops for AOA in relation to the gates. I don't need specific numbers, just general idea. Close, mid-way, or farthest away? LOL

Generally the AoA bus stops were placed further away at each park. This mainly matters when leaving the park. You may be dropped off anywhere when you arrive.

We're going to DHS on Nov. 28th (Wed.); it is our first Christmas visit. Does anyone know if the Osborne Spectacle of Lights is open and lit all night long or just certain hours? We want to see Fantasmic, also. Thanks.

I'm confused I thought that AOA is in Epcot resort that is from Passporter book but in your website is that AOA is a Hollywood Studios resort! Please tell me so I won't get confused thanks!

I know that Josh at easywdw.com took pictures of the bus stop listings at each of the parks and posted them in his blogs when AoA first opened. While I don't remember specific numbers, I do remember that most of the time the AoA stop was right next to Pop Century -- but usually one spot closer to the Main Gate than Pop (which is typically one of the farthest from the Main Gate of the park). The exception was Animal Kingdom where AoA is the closest stop to the Main Gate (or at least it was when he was taking the pictures).

That's because DHS is also in the Epcot area. In fact there is a boat between DHS and the IG gate at Epcot. So AoA is close to DHS but is also in the area known as the Epcot Resorts.

I went back and did the AoA bus stop photo research. Unless things have changed...

AoA bus stops are (click for photos from easywdw and @Exprcoofto):

#6 Animal Kingdom
#13 Hollywood Studios
#15 Magic Kingdom
#14 Epcot

Thanks for the bus stop information! Would be nice to be a little closer to the park entrances. My DH is the one who complains about having to walk so far at the end of the day. :lmao: I know it's considered a value resort, but for the price they are charging for family suites, it's almost like staying at a deluxe for us.

We will be headed to AoA in three weeks with 5 adults and 2 babies. I know crazy! I have a question for the bed situation. Which bed is better for two adults, the couch bed or inova table bed? Can anyone speak from experience?
Thanks for the help in advance!

The couch bed of course, it is three temporpidec mattresses that fold out to form one solid mattress, it is the most comfortable bed in the room. :yay:

Checking in Sept 22 for 5 nights in a LM room. We're driving down from NC and won't arrive until at least 9pm. I've read stories about hotels overbooking their rooms. Anyone know if Disney does this? I'm worried that since we're arriving late for a popular room they won't have one left for us. I don't want to move to another value resort.

Anyone know if I'm guaranteed to get my room no matter how late I check in?

You are guaranteed a room in the section you booked if you do online check-in, you will not be "walked" to another resort unless they overbook and you booked a generic "family suite" if you actually choose a theme (LM,LK,Cars, or Nemo) you will not get walked:thumbsup2

Hope that eases your stress about check-in times and fear of being walked. check-in time has nothing to do with it unless you check-in after 4AM;)

I understand very well bookgirl thanks again!

Not knowing where any of the bus stops are in relation to the main gate, how long would anyone say it would take to walk from the main gate to the furthest stop? Thanks.

Probably about five minutes at most, unless you were really slow.
