I spoke with a lady at A of A who was a guest there and a vegan. The chef personally walked her around the food court explaining everything she could have and everything they could modify for her. I can only imagine that they would do at least that for a child with allergies!

Thank you that was so kind of you to take so much time for us. I feel so much better . With so many allergies change is very scary .

Just booked the first leg of my trip w/SW. I have been holding out to see if they have their Birthday Sale, but when I check the other night my flight said sold out, but came back a few days later at $114. That is a price I can live with so I pulled the trigger.

What day are you all flying out of PIT?

Hi Ollyg and Tink15823. It is exciting that we are all on the same flight together! I am glad you let us in on the surprise! I would hate to be the one to ruin your surprise after you kept it a secret for so long. There is no way that I could not tell my daughter. I get so excited and caught up in the planning that I am always talking about it or discussing and changing restaurants etc. See you in Pittsburgh!

As with anywhere, there are some spots that service is crappy. I listened to the entire last quarter of a football game with my Sprint service sitting just off of Main Street on our last trip. You should be fine in the parks most of the time.

We only went there to eat last night and walk around to check the place out. I had no problems sending or receiving messages, but I could not get on facebook with my phone.

A total dead zone at WDW is inside The Living Seas. Even my dh with an international phone from Sprint has no signal in there. But there is signal in the Coral Reef restaurant.

I go into roaming inside the rooms at CSR, Pop, and POFQ unless I am right at the window. My dh does not.

disneysherrym and ollyg 112 days I don't think I am going to be able to wait. Bless you ollyg for keeping your trip a surprise I get so excited I just have to tell everyone we're going. There is NO WAY I could keep it a secret !!! Disneysherrym and I will do our best not to burst with excitement and tell .

I have a daughter with allergies (bees, not food) so I completely understand the fears! My impression is that Disney really does too! I had breakfast at Crystal Palace recently and they had gluten free quinoa with fruit on the buffet! I was so impressed (I'm a quinoa fan anyhow)! Disney is incredible at attention to detail...sometimes the details are guests with allergies!

Here is my review on Landscape of Flavors. I mentioned the vegan lady in the review as well. That was only ONE aspect of my dining experiences there that fully impressed me!

I have Sprint and was able to use my phone with no problems at the hotel. There was a few times in the parks it didn't have service but it wasn't bad.

My kids are already asking when were going back to AoA. Is it October yet?

I wouldn't expect there to be coffee makers in the Little Mermaid rooms, just like other regular value rooms at other resorts don't have coffee makers. If there are coffee makers that would be a nice surprise.

Does anyone remember seeing a picture of the LM bathroom door? I'm asking this quirky question to see if there is a mirror on the outside like at the POP and other resorts. I noticed with the LM room, the mirror in the bathroom is "fancier" and doesn't appear all that big so I'm hoping for the sake of getting ready with 4 of us next trip (3 adults), there will still be an almost full length mirror on the outside bathroom door.

I realize the LM section is not completed but just curious if you've noticed this yet or even in the mock up pictures?

Good question I just looked at the room again and I can't tell . I did notice they have a curtain to separate the sink area from the sleeping area.

None of the photos I've seen of the LM rooms have a view of that angle just yet, so I'm thinking we won't know until it gets closer to the opening date of that section.

I guess I can't send private emails because I haven't posted enough, but I just wanted to say that I work for Sprint, and after seeing that some people were having trouble with cell service at AOA, I submitted a network help ticket. The problem is that they need to know an affected phone number (or the "phone number" they give your aircard/datacard) to be able to proess the help ticket. So, if anyone who's had problems wants to email me their number - as well as any other specific info you have to offer - in the next 2 or 3 days, I'll pass it on and try to get someone to fix the problem!
