We booked a LM room with our FD pin from Nov 27-Dec 4th. So I know it's available with the pin offer right now... don't know if it's included in the august-sept FD offer available to the general public though.

I tried checking in December when my PIN is good but no go for AOA. :sad1:

This morning I just moved our FD reservation from Pop to AoA in December. I know others who have done the same thing.at AoA on the same deal in both November and December.

Thanks for the great reports! I think I recall reading that ASmu suites had paper plates and plasticware. Is there any of that kind of stuff in the AoA suites?

Also, how about pool towels? Are they provided at the pool, or can you get extra in your room to use for the pool?

I cant wait to see some new photos of the LK area!!! Beyond excited only 86 more days!!!!!!

Yes, paper plates and plasticware provided in room. Must bring room towels to pool, but can put them in return bins when done. Mousekeeping left us lots of extra towels today without being asked...off to the Big Blue we go!

Can someone tell me if there are Pack 'n' Plays in the closets of the suites at AoA? When we booked our room there I asked the CM to put in a request for one but he told me that all suites will have one in the closet already. Sounded a little crazy and an extra unneeded expense to Disney but I didn't argue with him. If there isn't one I'll just call another CM to get it added to my reservation. Thanks.

Ok, I did it!
Moved our reservations over to AoA, 2 rooms in the Little Mermaid section for our trip in December!:goodvibes I'm excited, feet aren't but they'll live. :rolleyes1

I would double check. The pictures that have been coming out are showing NO CLOSETS, just a bar with hangers. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

Excellent thank you! Have a wonderful time!

The cartoon channel - they have it in some resorts,I know Poly and CR have it - Movies used to (anyone know if they have it back?)

But since it is AoANIMATION - do they have a channel there in the rooms with all the old cartoons?

Might be a silly question but has anyone been able to get free dining at AOA? I called to book for right after opening weekend for LM and she said the pin didn't apply. Or maybe there were just no rooms open? :confused3

Several people got FD offer for Aug. & Sept. a while back(around April) but, I thought it had to be booked by mid May?

Confirming NO closets and NO Pack n Plays in rooms.

Checked in on opening day...AoA is beautiful!!!!!! The themeing is so well done. IMHO it is the deluxe of the values. Only a pool slide and balconies from officially being called a deluxe. The Big Blue pool is great with the zero entry, sprinkling jellies, and underwater music and voices. The grand opening pool party included all resort management and a visit from Mickey who joined in the dancing by the pool. The CMs are really on with their themed lingo. I was told to enjoy my story (stay), and several times told to just keep swimming when given directions. They have some resort specific shirts, cups, etc in the gift shop. All the food I have tried has been good. They use real plates and metal utinsils instead of paper or plastic here. Cars buildings look about ready to go. Lion King is coming along...I can see lots of characters in the courtyard, but rooms still need drapes. Can't see LM very well but outside of buildings looks cute. If you come here, check out the ladies restroom by the arcade...it is soooo pretty.

Regarding buses there has been no sharing with Pop, though for some reason my bus to MK had to take the road that circles both resorts before leaving.

FYI - we are a family of 5 and just spent over a week at Riverside...which we love too...but having the wonderful space in these rooms is hard to beat.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat...the Nemo rooms are great. I think I would stay in Lion King next.

Let me know if there are any questions...we check out Sunday.

im also a family of 5 and VERY excited for the room!!! Sorry to ask but did you take pictures of the construction on Lion King?? that is where we will be staying next year!! can't wait thank you for posting to us on your vacation!!!

The LM rooms have doors that open to the outside where you can step outside and take a breather if needed. They are just like POP rooms.

Yeah! I didn't realize that. Good to know. I love watching fireworks from outside our room (at POP). Hope to do so at AoA.
