Does anyone know if there is a small bottle of dish soap in the kitchenette like they supply in the DVC studios? I have a small bottle I could bring but by the pictures on the Dis (for the Nemo room) looks like there are just paper towels unless the soap is behind it?

Thanks!!

Ive seen some people talk about receiving AoA themed Mickey mail?
How far in advanced are you supposed to receive
this before you're visit? We're 3 months away from
ours, and we have not gotten anything in the mail
from Disney. :confused3

We are 2 months away and have yet to get anything so don't worry!

I was just looking at the pic gallery of the Cars section. It looks so cool! We are staying in the Little Mermaid section in November :yay: It is just so exciting watching as each section is completed.

We are looking forward to being there in November. It has been over 6 years since we were there so I am sure a lot has changed.

The Disney Food Blog did a pretty detailed report on the kitchenette, and they did not mention any dish soap. Doesn't mean it's not there, but they got pretty specific about what is supplied.

Hey guys!! Doesn't the thread gets closed/locked when it reaches 250 pages? If so.. we are getting near the end!! We need to start a new thread soon!! Maybe we can move all the wonderful pictures to the new thread. :) :cool1:

I think technically the threads can go longer, but most people start new ones at 250 to make it easier for everybody to find info. I think we just need one person to look at how some of the other resort threads are set up and condense the available info into the first couple posts. Whoever does the first post should probably be someone who doesn't mind updating the first posts, since I'm sure there will be a lot to add between now and September when the last section opens.

yes...If the mods notice they will close it at that point. We should probably start a new one now that it is opened anyways.
I'm not sure I am up to it yet...I want to stay there first...but the person who starts it should be a die hard fan, because the resort threads need to be updated...at least the good ones do.

We walked over to Art of Animation from Pop this past trip and the resort is spectacular. We may look at staying there in the future, if they drop the price.

What I don't understand, though, is why people continue to refer to this as a "value" resort? Spending $320 a night is not a value, in my opinion. I get that it's a suite, but if I'm going to spend $320 a night, I'll stay at a deluxe resort.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way.

That is for the suites, and while they are more expensive than even a mod, they are also bigger rooms. The LM section will be standard rooms and be priced similarly to POP.

I know, I know soo picky. I will probably just drink water.

You can be picky, each to their own. Besides, water is good for you! :thumbsup2

I never heard of such setting on a camera

I have on mine Jen and mine is just a little Kodak 'point and shoot' from Walmart. It's a selection that comes under one of the settings you pick out from a little dial on the top of the camera. It keeps it from flashing when you want to take a photo of something that's lit up, but behind glass so there won't be a 'flash back' on the photo, like something behind a glass case or a window. I hope this helps you. Your camera may have it, but by a different name.

Do they have the pomegranate lemonade there? My kids loved that.

I've never heard of this drink, but I'd love to try it. Where do they have this in WDW? Thanks.

Ooooh, thanks for reminding me of this, Kristy; I forgot all about it. :thumbsup2

Well, I'm certainly becoming 'Die Hard', but I'm no where near qualified for this job. I just want to say thanks to the above members for realizing and bringing it up and thanks to whoever does take on and do the job. I remember when I and some others said how we were 'forming' the first unofficial AoA resort thread and now we're hitting 250 and need to start a new thread! It's been so much fun getting to 'know' so many of you. Thanks for all of the shared information. :flower3:

I guess I'll have to actually walk into a suite to fully understand the size of the room. It's probably the cheapskate in me that would rather spend money elsewhere than a room. But that's easy to say now that I have kids that are 8 and 5. When they get older (and bigger), that extra room that a suite provides might be worth the extra $$$.

Like I said, not knocking the resort at all, because I thought it was quite breathtaking. And I do want to stay there. I guess I just got a little sticker shock when I saw the price of the suites.

When I was putting together vacation packages, the LM rooms at AoA and the rooms at Pop were the same price.

When originally released AoA was $10-20 higher, but they changed them to be equal shortly after. POP has more room category choices, so that is why I said "similarly".:goodvibes
