Sorry but I haven't read through all 219 pages. This might have been mentioned.

Did AoA get new KTTW cards that are a different design than the other resorts? Anyone have a picture?

I do remember hearing someone say they had a key card with a different design, but I haven't seen any pictures yet. I'd be interested in this too from someone who stayed their as to what they look like.

The room key looks the same I think, but it's one of the tap and go keys. You just hold it up to the lock on the door, and it unlocks. No swipe.

I'm working seasonally at Disney in Food and Beverage at DHS and for some reason, Beach Club Resort guests have been showing up with a different room key than the norm so I don't know if they are just out of the older ones or if they are eventually switching to new ones.

They were changed over to the new type of key too. All resorts will eventually

I saw pictures from someone's blog & they are the vending type creamer machines. I think the link to the blog is on the first page to this thread. I think his name starts with a J & there are three links :thumbsup2

Oh, Josh's blog maybe? I only ask because we might bring a travel coffee maker since DH loves his coffee. Since we will be up early, I can't see him walking to and from the food court area a lot. It would be better if we had coffee right with us. I will fill up a container with creamer and keep it in the room in the fridge.

Does the food court have Nescafe? Or real coffee?

ETA: The photo of the coffee (the one where you see the creamer) shoes a machine that does not look like it makes freshly brewed coffee, so I assume it's Nescafe. That means we are bringing a coffee pot from home. We're not staying in a suite and I hear the LM rooms don't have coffee makers.

I remember my sons second trip to WDW when he was 19 months old and it was November 2000. We brought our fall jackets and long pants but it got REALLY cold. We put a blanket on his stroller but he was still cold. So we had to get really crafty. Bought him a sweatshirt and wanted to buy him some gloves, but there were none to be found in all the world. So what is a worried mom to do to keep her son warm in the world? Buy him Tigger socks and put them on his hands. They worked wonders and then when we were home after the vacation he had great socks. Alls well that ends warm. ( I know, that was bad :rotfl2:)

I'll take a WeatherPass too! Not too humid, sunny and dry heat! 82 is perfect! It was strange because I think of HEAT when I think of Disney

That would be perfect for swimming; I'll have a WeatherPass too please!

The mugs makes a good souvenir even if you don't use it at the resort. That instant garbage seems pretty similar to me to the stuff you get from fountains.

They are great souvenirs. I'm with you on the tea. I'm used to fresh brewed tea. I can never drink canned or bottled or the kind in a dispenser. Did you know that as bad as soda is, canned or bottled ice tea is even worse for your teeth than soda (I'm a Pediatric Nurse BTW.)?

I need 75 and sunny please!

I'll have the same; that would be heavenly, too. I can swim with that!

The Disney Parks Blog has a feature today on the Cars section of the resort as it is now officially open:

Thank you so much for the blog link. I got some great photos off of my PC with my camera.
BTW, any of you who scrapbook, now is the time to get some great photos of this beautiful new resort for your scrapbook. Use your museum or stage setting on your camera and take a photo of the publicity shots off of your computer. You'll get gorgeous photos of each section as it opens without crowds of people in your photos. Then when you get there, get more photos with you and your family in them!:thumbsup2

I am talking about the instant crap. That is what I grew up on.

I know your iced tea is way healthier, but I don't like black tea. And I don't like the way the sweetened tea tastes. I tried some at DL in Feb and I couldn't believe how sweet it was. Sooooo gross.

I don't like hot chocolate either.

I know, I know soo picky. I will probably just drink water.

I always mix sweet and unsweet tea. Even at restaurants, I ask for half & half and then get refills of unsweet. Plain unsweet tea is too bitter but sweet tea is too sweat. Mixing it helps even it out for me.

Confirming that the food court has Nescafe like everywhere else.

It would be surprising if the LM rooms have coffee makers due to them being the standard rooms. I don't expect them to have coffee makers, but I guess we will find out.

I never heard of such setting on a camera

Ive seen some people talk about receiving AoA themed Mickey mail?
How far in advanced are you supposed to receive
this before you're visit? We're 3 months away from
ours, and we have not gotten anything in the mail
from Disney. :confused3
