i do not know why nobody can answer if there is a grab bar in the shower in a NON handicapped savanna room

We are staying at Kidani, 1br savannah view, for the first time this October (so excited). What is the best location for animal viewing?

Hi. We are arriving on 8:30am flight and heading to Kidani. We will most likely leave around 2pm for Ohana ADR. If our room is not ready is there a shower/changing room at Kidani. We will be spending a good amount of time in the pool somit would be great to get a shower before we have to go. Still hoping a room is ready by then.

33 days!! :tigger:

Kidani pool is great! Enjoy! Yes, they have a nice shower/changing room facility.

I am in a non handicapped savannah room right now and there is a small grab bar on the wall of the shower. Tried to upload a pic for you but the wifi is too slow.

1 day yay pixie dust
I cant understand how thousands and thousands of people stay at the hotel and not one person can remember if there's a bar. I've asked so many times in so many different forums.I guess I'm just going to have to buy a portable one

ETA - I see you did see it. :thumbsup2

Actually if you go on this link

They show a couple of bathrooms. Looks like a very small bar at the soap, but not sure if that is what your looking for.

The first post has the link I posted pages ago to your question. You click on the link, and then scroll down and click on shower picture.

We are staying in Kidani in October. Is there a separate thread for it, or is all of AKL info in this thread? (I couldn't find one.)Thank you!

Can someone help me figure out the difference between a standard room with standard view at the lodge vs. a value studio villa with standard view at jambo house. The price with my PIN code is about the same so I'm not sure which one to choose. Does one have more space or better views in general? Or are there other differences? Thanks in advance!

Not real sure why you would get a pin code for a value studio villa at AKL. I'm not sure those have ever been available for cash rentals, as they stay booked solid, generally at the 11 month mark, year round for DVC members.

Standard view rooms are larger than value view rooms, btw.
