Has anyone ever gotten into the night safari on a cancellation?

I'm looking for the 16th of this month for 2 but it is full. I am calling daily but it is starting to seem a little hopeless. Does this ever get cancelled?

Just upgraded our night at AKL to savannah view, then called about 10min later and got CL. YAY CL! so excited!

That is awesome! Do you know if the online website showed those options open and if what they charged you is the same as the online website? When I look at my dates it shows no savannah or CL, but now I wonder if it is worth a call? I thought the reservation center had the same options as what we see online, but maybe not???

I used the military discount so the availability is different, and I paid about $4 more than my math came out to (I can't book or see military rates online) but that was probably a math error on my end (so the base price had to have been pretty much spot on from the website). Today they showed online, but I have booked via phone before when online said no so I would definitely call and ask. Can't hurt! If it helps, It was $112 extra to get savannah, and then $42 after that to get CL. For Jan 16.

Thanks! I'm excited. This is for our last night after 3 nights at WL CL! First time staying CL at all. Excited to see it at 2 resorts. Now if someone could just cancel the night safari on the 16th everything would be perfect!

There is conflicting info because there are different ways to book club, on a regular "cash" stay, or through DVC booking, and the two are different.

For cash stays, the rooms are on the fourth floor (the lobby is on the third floor), and have guaranteed Arusha savannah views. Arusha is the best savannah at Jambo, and has lots of giraffes!

The Club Lounge is on the sixth floor, and that's the same floor where the DVC club rooms are. Those DVC rooms do not have arusha views. Instead, they either have (I think fairly poor) sunset savannah views or pool views. There aren't many DVC club rooms, so they're very hard to get.

We stayed club on a cash stay and we really loved it! We had a great room location on Zebra trail with a great view.

We were on the Uzima savanna last month. There were 3 giraffes, those long horned cattle, various gazelles/deer type animals, crested cranes, and more. It was a GREAT savanna view. 3rd floor would be perfect.

....we were too....in fact, our last two visits were on Zebra Trail - 3rd floor....AWESOME!
