Whoo hoo! So excited to be joining y'all! First time to WDW June 13-17 Savana Deluxe Studio in Kidani.

I see there is no QS option at Kidani where do we fill mugs? Jambo? How far a walk is it over there?

Any room tips? We are requesting a lock out room because my daughter will have an. ECV & that room type is suppsed to have space by the door to park it.

1st off. to the disboards.
2nd my congrats on your 1st trip.
3rd. The store just off of the lobby will be where you refill your mugs, as well as by the kidani pool ( when there ).
4th I'd request close to lobby for your room. Those hallways sure do get long.

The walk / stroll over to Jambo is about 7 or 8 mins....You can also utilize the buses to n fro.

Surprising the kids...it is my oldest's 12th birthday and all he wanted was breakfast at Boma...instead we are doing a split stay with 4 nights at Pop then 6 nights at AKL. He is going to FREAK!! We all love AKL SO, SO, SO much. So, June 19 - 25 for us!

What time do the storytellers begin around the fire pit? Is this every night? Also, aside from the night vision, are there other evening activities, after 5pm?

I don't think it really makes that much of a distance...I was the 4th pod on the South side which was actually nice....Sort of a shortcut coming from & going to the buses every day. I think there were elevators between the 2nd & 3rd pod...It was a short walk from there...

The only thing I can offer though...If you're in a Sunset Savannah, you will get sun in the room , in the morning....If you are on the Pembe or just a parking area view, you'll get it at night...Not sure if your kids are light sleepers or not?

We did this in January. We were served the following: bread service with all nine condiments (our table, which had 11 people at it, was given three very large portions); then everyone got a salad sampler with three salads (one was a chickpea salad, one was beet-based, and then the watermelon/cucumber one); after that everyone got a 'pick two' except that you didn't actually get to pick--we were given the butter chicken and the Goan seafood curry; there were a couple of vegetarians who were able to switch out for another choice) and then finally a dessert trio (strawberry kulfi, Tanzanian chocolate mousse and lemon lychee tart).

Thank you so much. I know my girls would love the bread and the dessert but the entrees not so much. The whole experience seems great, I'm just scared they will leave hungry.

Thoughts please: We are staying at AKL in June and have an 8:00 am ADR at Be our Guest when the MK opens at
9:00 am. Is it possible to be there by 7:30 by taking the bus or should I take a taxi?

To be on the safe side I'd Taxi it...

Buses will run that early. ...it may be 6:45 a.m., but you can ask the front desk or one of the bus drivers the day before. There are so many people with early ADR's that they need to have transportation running.
