Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MUSIC Resort

Wow it is me and DD 10 also! It cannot come soon enough!!!!

I'm really needing this vacation so i agree 100%!! Have you stayed at Music before? I requested Broadway, but I've never been there so not sure to expect. We've stayed at Pop before.

Seriously!?! Are you my twin? We requested Broadway because we are Broadway nerds. We have never stayed at All Stars before but wanted value because we are going over to Universal a couple of days then back to DW CSR for the end of the trip. This vacation is soooo needed. DD is missing her last week of school because I planned on her missing only the last day but we had to add 3 snow days on. We are getting hyper with excitement :)

We are too!! My DD school ends Friday and we are at WDW on Monday! I got a little nervous because they had a lot of snow days too but it worked out just right lol. PM me when you get there. Maybe we'll share a bus ride or something!

There's no such thing that I'm aware of for emailing resort staff directly. For comparison when you call the resort, you're routed to a call center first.

There is a general purpose form you can use for Walt Disney World where you can get a response via email:
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/help/email/

You can't call the hotel directly? We booked through Cheaptickets and I was under the impression that since cheaptickets technically owns my reservation, I can't make requests, etc. However, I thought once it was within 3 days or so, I could call and make requests. Maybe the phone number I have isn't direct to hotel? I don't even know where I put the number now. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

Have you linked your reservation to MDE? That way you can do online check in and get general request added. You can also call Disney directly and add your requests. Call cheap tickets and have them give you the Disney reservation number not their number.
Also the first page on this thread has the hotel info, Telf number and fax.

Yes, I linked it right away after I made the reservation. Thanks for reminding me that post #1 had all the info. I knew I had it somewhere! LOL. Anyway, I've read multiple posts that even though it's linked, I cannot make requests because the reservation is technically owned by Cheaptickets. I will call and find out! Thanks.

It would be fun to see you. A couple years ago we met a family and rode some rides together at MK and the girls had a blast :)

Does anyone know the June pool movie schedule? Or where to find it prior to my stay?

Hi we are considering a stay at ASMu, and I understand there are no coffee makers in the rooms. We are coming from the UK, so is it possible to either rent / borrow a coffee maker from house keeping or can I buy one on Amazon and have it shipped to the resort for when we arrive?

Thanks :goodvibes

Claire :)

Only the family suites have coffee makers. If you are not staying in one of those then you would have to purchase a coffee maker online and have it shipped.

That's funny! It was me and DD10 also! :thumbsup2 We arrived on 24th and left on the 30th. I really enjoyed ASMu. I liked it better than Movies. We stayed in Broadway. It was a long walk to the buses, but we made it.

We stayed in Broadway the week before Memorial Day, too. It really was a long walk, but it was also pretty peaceful out there. I was surprised at how much I liked ASMu.

I see there's announcement on the DIS about the refurb of Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music. Closed Aug 1 through December 20, 2014:

Looking forward to the updates! The End Zone food court redo at Sports is gorgeous, in my opinion. I'd expect a similar project at Music.

Finally!!!!! The only downer for me with ASMu was the food court. The cheesy murals and cafeteria seating has always made me feel like I was on a Motel 6 vacation. There are so many beautiful places at WDW and this food court has never been one of them.

I stayed in Broadway 5/29-6/3 also with DD 10 and I did get a bit tired of the long walk from Broadway but it was so pretty that it didn't bother me much. We enjoyed the resort much more than we thought we would. Was so clean and DD loved the activities coordinator

I know there were some links, but this is what I just read through:
