Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

Quick question.

Are the beds in ASMo high enough to ultilize some under the bed space for our stuff? I just want to be able to use as much space as I can having 3 adults and 1 child in the room. :thumbsup2

while probably high enough the base of the bed is a solid frame allowing nothing underneath. probably a good idea,one les thing for the maids to vaccum! lol

We are staying at ASMo on DEC 7-14th.
Due to an injury i need something close to the buses. (will be renting ECV in the parks)
Last time we had put in a request for something close to the main lobby. due to a mishap they never got it. They were going to put us in the MD area. I Was not to pleased untill it was explained that i was closer to ASMu buses.

Now I want to request something in the MD area. How to make sure that they get my request????
We were going to pay for a preferred room, but for what i hear is may not be as close as to the buses as the MD is to ASMu.

Just back, and yes I did have to check under the beds to make sure we didn't forget anything.:rolleyes1 Our suitcases did not fit under the bed, and they were a carry on size.

We had adjoining rooms right near the Fantasia pool, ground floor, which was great. We loved the location, and enjoyed the resort more than we thought we would. It was too cool to swim at night, so the room stayed quiet. Not sure if it would have been loud on a warm evening. I would definitely love to stay in this location again. Having two bathrooms was great. And lastly every CM that I met at ASMo was so nice.:)

I really hope to stay in Fantasia in ASMO for Nov or Dec 2010! All-Star Movies is good!

rooms numbered 0x01-0x05, 0x60-0x64, 9x01-9x05, 9x60-9x64 will be closest.

The X indicated here is the floor level~
7= 1st floor~
8= 2nd foor~
9= 3rd floor~

First # is the bldg number~
0= Buzz bldg.
9= Woody bldg.

The last two digits are the actual room number. So if you are staying on Buzz's side, 1st floor, the number on your door would be 07 plus the room number.

So ASmo's KIDDIE pool is bigger than POP's??? Anyone have any pictures of it? Based on allears photos, the kiddie pool at all-stars looks much smaller. Considering the age of our kids a good kiddie pool is a must. Thanks!

I need to know is the outdoor moviesin the All-Star Movies. Does the All-Star Movies has a Outdoor movies night?:confused:

I'm glad you posted this, because I've been trying to figure out how to request the area we had last time.
So, for example, building 10 second floor would be something like 08xx ??
Do you know where I can find a map of the actual room numbers? The maps I've looked at just have the building numbers.. I think I've seen it somewhere in the past, just having trouble finding it now.
Thanks!

Thanks for checking the beds! So with the footboard, you can still slide stuff under the sides?

Our luggage is like dufflebags and have no hard sides so we will be storing them empty under the beds. :thumbsup2

not the poster youre asking, but i did post an answer earlier about the frames. the frames end about 3 inches before the bed, so theres no real way luggage can fit under there. unless its super skinny. its pressed board and solid on all 4 sides, no empty spaces to store anything. altho its still easy for say a wayward sock to go under the blankets and hide. lol

I'm wondering if the walking distance from the Far ends of the resort say mighty ducks. How does that compair to say the walking at the moderate resorts they all look like everything is so far away.

We are bringing some granola bars and we got in on a fridge swap, too. Does anyone have any estions as to other food to get\keep in the room? Our kids are 5 and 2. We plan on getting milk and juice boxes. We have a dining plan but don't want to burn through it at break neck speed!
