Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

One more quick question...

Do the rooms have the privacy curtain between the sink area and the rest of the room? We will have a 2 (almost 3 year old) along and it would be nice to be able to turn the light on without distrubing him. For some reason noise does not wake him up, but the minute you turn the light on he is up! Again TIA!

I've not stayed there, but I think the set up is the same as Pop. No there isn't one. But some people bring a shower curtian and rod and hang it there for a bit of privacy.

I wish that Disney's All-Star Movies needs to build the Incredibles Theme in the All-Star Movies!

We have a Grand Gathering booked for ASMo this October - 12 family members going so far! We've booked 4 preferred rooms - hopefully they'll be in the Toy Story building (we're staying at ASMo because my children and my nephews are Toy Story-aholics LOL). Can't wait! :cool1:

I'm enjoying this thread :goodvibes

I think that would be a wonderful idea! Maybe even change the Mighty Ducks building to Incredibles. The other buildings came from such classic movies but I think the Mighty Ducks maybe got lost between generations.

There is a door between the sink area and the bathroom.

Thank you, I realize that there is a door between the sink area and the shower/toilet area, but what I was looking for is if there was a curtain between the sink and bed areas.

There are reports that in the refurbished rooms at ASMu they have added the privacy curtain. Just wondering if ASMo rooms have gotten this update.

This is a photo from someone on these boards that shows what I am talking about. This is from a family suit, but I have read that are also in some standard rooms also. I have also seen pictures, but can't find them right now.

I have read about Disers taking a shower curtain along to put up, but it would be so much easier if the curtain was already there.

We have stayed at POP multiple times and understand the room layout, etc. just thought we would give another resort a try this time.

EDITED TO ADD: I found the thread mentioning the privacy curtains at ASMu with pictures.

Oh! I need to know what is a preferred room is? And I love The Incredibles!

So this may be a silly question but this is my first time I am planning a trip; my DF and I are taking are first vacation together in April 2008 and are staying at the ASmo, our flight gets in at noon but check in isn't until 4:30pm, we are using the Disney's Magical Express (the one where they pick up your luggage and bring it to your hotel)? I was just wondering if we could stop by the hotel and drop off our carry-on luggage when we pick up our tickets and go to the parks before check in or if we have to carry our small bags with us? Will we even be able to get into the parks before we check in?

I think I asked our travel agent this question. I believe the answer was that you can check in whenever you arrive, but they may or may not have your room ready at the time. They will store your luggage for you though, so no toting anything around that you don't want to. Have a great vacation! :wizard:

You can check in and they will hold your luggage until the room is ready. And yes you can head off to the parks. Sometimes the resorts will give you a card to call periodically to see if your room is ready.

Here I was looking for a thread that had everything I ever wanted to know about ASMo, and HERE IT IS!! Thanks so much, you should be com mended!!:

This may have been asked already but, I didn't find it. Does ASMo have an iron and ironing board in the rooms? It looks like maybe they do in some pictures I have seen but the first page here lists those as things you can request to be brought to you. I just wondered if all rooms have them standard now.

Thinking of possibly staying there this time depends on offers that come out!

Are there any renovation plans for the rooms at ASMO? I noticed recently that ASMO have been getting bad reviews on tripadvisor.

We're excited about staying here - my DS5 LOVES Buzz & Woody, so I'm praying that we can get a room in one of those buildings. Hopefully, it's not as much of a pain and I'm thinking it is.
