Hey all, I just finished booking a disneymoon for May of 07. It is a land and sea package with us staying at AKL. My fiance hasn't been down to disneyworld in like 10 years and the last time i was there was for work so i missed alot. Does anyone have any do suggestions while we are there?

Make sure to book a savannah view room if you can book it!

Also, for your cruise, make sure to book a reservation at Palo - the adult's only restaurant.

I would also suggest you try out Jiko since you're staying at the AKL. It's excellent!

My Mom and I did the land and sea in February and also stayed at the AKL - you will love it AND the Wonder!

Funny you should mention all those suggestions as i forgot to say that we've done the cruise before and actually got engaged at Palo! WE are staying in a savannah view room and are very excited. Both of us work in the animal training field and can't wait to see the animals! I am not expecting to see many from the room, but know i'll see a ton in the park! Can't wait to try the food!

Woo hoo! Congrats on your Disneymoon! I love AKL and have not had a chance to stay there yet. I would echo on Jiko b/c it is in your resort. Also, we love Ohana's if you can book where you can see Wishes. The food is all you can eat which was important to my hubbie =) Lots of food but lots to do. Just go and enjoy yourself! It will be worth it. I highly recommend on the cruise the spa. We did the exotic rasul and the couples cabana massage. Leif had never been to the spa and LOVED it.

I would suggest checking out your balcony around late afternoon. We always saw a lot of animals at that time. We even saw a herd of gazelles running by once or twice.
