Is there a significant difference between booking an offical disneymoon verse if I was to plan my honeymoon at disney without going throught their special honeymoon registery or anything ?

The honeymoon registry really just allows your family/friends to buy you disney experiences as wedding presents. For example, we put a few of the dinners we were planning to do on our honeymoon on the registry and our family was able to "buy" them for us. What that really means is more like you get a spending account at disney, you can use it for whatever you want and whatever you don't spend they will send you a check for. It's more the thought that a person could "send you to dinner" or "buy you a massage" on your honeymoon.
