I posted this on the disABLILTIES forum and was told to try here as well.
Has anyone done Disney with a service dog?
How were you treated (not only by staff, but by other visitors)?
Did you have to wait in line with everyone else?
What did you do with your dog when you were on a ride?
Any info would be helpful. I'v been to the Disney site and read the disabled guest handbook, but it wasn't very helpful.

Also any info on Universal and Sea World with a service dog would be appreciated.

For something like this, I'd call the resort directly. I'd imagine you'd have to do a stroller switch pass for the rides with someone who won't be riding for the dog. But DLR would be the ones to get the facts from.

We stayed at the Residence Inn and a little girl there had a service dog. I was talking to the mother and she said Universal and Sea World were very good about the dog being there but Disney was a little behind. She said all the cast members weren't informed of the rules and some even tried to stop her from bringing him in.However they were able to bring the dog with them into the restaurants(not sure about the rides).
Good luck but like the last poster said I would contact the parks directly and take down the name of who you speak to so you can reference them upon entry.
As for the attitude or treatment from other guests, unfortunately some people are afraid of dogs and I witnessed a woman lie to say the dog growled at her and was ready to attack. The dog did not and as you I am sure you know would not but this person was annoyed that a "pet" could be near the pool area. The woman had to explain to her about her daughters disablility and the use of the service dog but the woman didn't care. It was an unfortunate experience but only one out of a whole week of good experiences.I am sure most people understand and wouldn't even pay any attention to the dog.

I have never seen a service dog at Disneyland.

I agree you should call the resort itself and ask. Please if you find out "official policy" post it here I am sure we would all be interest in knowing what official policy on this is.

<font color=navy> I agree that you should ask Disney directly. I've seen service dogs and dogs in training many times at the Disneyland parks and Downtown Disney.

Good luck
