I took my kids to the train station in Anaheim, so I stopped at Disneyland on the way home (btw, a car hit the train on the way to San Diego, and the kids were stuck on the train for a couple of extra hours. No one on the train was hurt, but don't know about the car driver 
)
I meandered around the park and snapped a few shots.
These are pics of the entrance where you first go in & they check your bags - I was already inside when I took the pic - coming from Downtown Disney. I took a pic towards California Adventure and towards Disneyland.

But, Main Street is changing -- Lightpoles and gas lamps are turning gold, and gold 50 signs are turning up on some of the buildings, getting ready for the anniversary.
I passed Belle making a young guest smile
Enjoyed the musical talents of a percussion group playing on some trashcans... in the background mountain climbers were climbing the Matterhorn (I later saw a flag on top, so Mickey made it to the top once again. I noted that although Mickey's antics are quite loud from Main Street, you cannot even hear it when you are in Tomorrowland. Also noticed that they have the area under the Peoplemover/rocket rod track covered.
I also ran into Push the talking trashcan.... Push is relatively new. He wanders around Tomorrowland and talks to guests. These young boys were checking him out and kind of kicking him (where were their parents?), trying to see if someone was inside (no one was - Push is remote controlled)... It was sure funny, though, when Push started chasing them. I had to laugh at the look on their faces.
The Candy Store smelled soooo good, I had to go in. They were making fresh pecan rolls and English Toffee, so I took a pic.
And finally - a nice pic of the Matterhorn...
In addition to walking around Disneyland, I also did some shopping -- pins, a retro sweatshirt, some more pins, and a couple of golden Mickey ears. Here's a tip -- I bought these at the corner store on Main Street (I think it was Disneyland Showcase). You can get these embroidered at the Mad Hatter on Main Street (next to the Opera House) -- the line was so long that I took my hats to the hat store in Frontierland, where the wait was 5 minutes, and I got them embroidered -- saved time doing it that way.
