Disneyland tickets through Airmiles - a question

Hi everyone! My daughter and I are visiting Disneyland next month (first time ever for her, and I've only been twice; in 1989 and very briefly 10 years ago).

Quick question about the vouchers from Airmiles. I've redeemed airmiles for 5 day hopper tickets for us both (yay!), and I've received them in the mail. Can someone walk me through how we redeem these once we're at Disneyland? Do we use them to get our actual tickets (if so, where/how?), or are they what we use to get in at the gates? I want to be super prepared so we get in early on our first morning. :earboy2:

Hopefully that makes sense! I feel like a complete newbie!

There are ticket windows outside the gates. Just stop there and exchange them for actual tickets.

First want to confirm its Disney World, not Land. Not sure if they sell 5 day hoppers for Land. Next if they are linked online to your profile, when you check in you should be good to go. Just take them with you just to be sure. We also take a pic of the back with the numbers on them to make sure.

As long as nothing has changed at Airmiles in the past 12 months, you will get the actual tickets in the mail. All you have to do when you get to DL is walk up to the main gates and use them, no redeeming needed!

That has been our experience as well but it sounded like the OP already has received hers and they are vouchers.

They do have 5 day DL tickets at Air Miles.

Boo! I loved getting the tickets from Airmiles because they always sent the actual ticket! :(

Thanks guys!

Yes, they are 5 day Disneyland hoppers :D

Okay.. maybe they are the actually ticket.. I don't know what they're supposed to look like, lol. I also tucked them away a couple months ago and haven't looked at them too closely in a while. If they are actual tickets, will there be a barcode on them? They're tiny little things! I'll take a closer look when I get home tonight.

Do they look kind of like these?

If so, then those are your actual tickets.

I sure hope they're tickets! We're ordering some in the next month and wasn't anticipating having to stand in line at the ticket booth first thing!

Yes!!! Perfect! So glad I clarified. This will save us valuable time on our first morning in the park. I plan to hurry to the Matterhorn and ride it (at least once!) before it shuts down the next day, for the rest of our trip ;) Thank you!

Yes, for sure Airmiles sends the ACTUAL Disneyland tickets. But I just wanted to suggest to you, Aladora, that you remove your image of the back of your ticket. Aren't your compromising its validity by putting it out on a public message board? I mean to say someone could use your code #. (Probably very difficult to do, but better safe than sorry!)

Those are images from google.

Thanks for the concern but as damo posted, those are just Google images I pulled off the internet!

We, sadly, have no immediate plans to go back to DL. :( Between our exchange rate and the 3 trips we took last year, we are taking a bit of a break. (but I am secretly semi-planning a November trip during Dapper Days, shhhh!)
