Disneyland stores special purchase deal?

Does anyone know what the current deal is when you spend X amount of money? Last time we were there they had a special deal on pins. Anyone know of a good way to get cheap pins just for trading?

My current favorite is finding people selling new booster packs on ebay for about $2 per pin.

I shopped in the Clothiers on Friday morning; special deal was spend $25.00 or more and purchase a woven throw for $15.99. I didn't see the throw displayed anywhere though, so I'm not sure how impressive it would have been. There may also have been something going on with a pin set; totally not interested so I didn't read it too closely.

We were at DL 5-10 may. We got Pin Lanyard set with 40 dollar purchase. I think the lanyard and pin set were $15.00 each. Daughter bought enough for 4 or 5 sets but only bought 2. The store cast member asked if she needed more then one set of pins and since she did the cast member suggested daughter make purchase in two transactions. The grand kids had a great time trading pins with cast members. Well worth the money spent for as much fun as the kids had. Daughter also lets kids do trades to what "they" like not what might be worth more or limited editions and so forth. The cast members were great with the kids.

I did see the blanket reward available at most stores. Remember if you do not see the promotion just ask at cash register. Some cast members must have been new as they did not know about promotion or we explained it incorrect.

There was a 3rd option if I remember correct but can not think of what it was. I hope my memory is serving me right. But asking for sure would be correct thing to do as I am not sure.

Oh and some times you can find bags of trading pins for very cheap. Maybe 10 for less then 5 dollars on e-bay. Spend a few mins to make sure they are "real" Disney pins and not "fake" ones.
