i'm going with my family to disneyland for the first time the last week of march in spring break :) (4 days, 2 days each park) i'm planning every detail of my trip, every attraction to visit, everything.

I know spring break tend to be very crowded so i would love to know any tip you suggest to first time visitors, like i was reading that fastpass will enforce the return time and that change a lot what i planned, is that confirmed?

Any tip would be great :) thaaaaaanks.

That was a reference to Walt Disney World policy and is as yet unconfirmed. There is not yet any word, rumor or otherwise, about whether this policy change is coming to Disneyland.

As for a helpful tip, if you can afford the extra cost, I would highly recommend getting parkhopper tickets to maximize your use of time. The front gates for the parks are literally directly across from each other, so parkhopping is not difficult.

We will be there with you :-) My parents and maybe my sister and BIL will be joining us for part of the trip. That will slow down our touring but it will make for better memories. Do you already know about the MouseWaits app?

Great :) I will go with my brother and father. And yes i know the mousewaits apps, i already have an account in touringplans so i checked their wait times and next week when i buy my android cellphone i will use the mousewaits app too.

I have a Ridemax account. I'll have to set it on slow touring with the rest of the family tagging along. My sister doesn't walk fast or far. My Ds(8) and I will have to control ourselves. I get so excited at DL that I talk pretty fast. The memories of all of us at DL are worth it the slower speed.

Blockout dates of March 30, 2012 to April 15, 2012 and other restrictions apply.

I know that Spring Break dates vary of course, but do you think that March 30 - April 15 is the busiest considering the blackout dates? I am still expecting it to be VERY busy and am planning on utilizing MM, hopping, a few reservations (hey we have an impatient when hungry issue!) and of course FPs. We also plan on taking rests at the hotel in the afternoon, maybe swim if its warm enough but definitely relax and return for dinner and nighttime events! It works for us :) But I also promise not to become a trip nazi ;) No REALLY!;)

The week before and after Easter are the busiest. That's why they're blocked out.
