Hiya Everyone! I haven't seen many ride overviews lately, so I decided to make one. I'm 12 and I really love the Dis! I know I haven't been on the Dis for very long, but I'm addicted to it! So, oh yes. I am scared, as are others, of TOT, Snow White's Scary Adventure, and many other of those little special effect rides. ;) So, I hope you all enjoy my overview of the rides at DLR and DCA. Here it is!

Disney's California Adventure Rides:

Golden Plaza-
No Rides At The Time

Condor Flats-
Soarin' Over California- This is very kid friendly. But, if your "little aviator" is afraid of heights, I wouldn't suggest it.

Grizzly Peak Rereation Area-

Grizzly River Run- Caution: You will get wet. If your kids don't like really loud noises or dark places I don't suggest it. But, I love it.

Redwood Creek Challenge- It's a little outdated, but I still have fun on it! If you need to just get out of those lines and sit down, let your kids loose in here. I've played there for 4 hours once!

The Bay Area-

Golden Dreams- *Yawn* I do not recommend this for kids. It's a snore fest for us.

Pacific Warf-

Mission Tortilla Factory- Yummy! Kids like it or the food and the air conditioning.

The Bakery Tour- Again, we like it for the air conditioning and the food!

Paradise Pier-

California Screamin- Ooooh, I love this ride. But, thrill seekers, this is not for little kids. Tried it when I was a little smaller, freaked out. End of story.

Maliboomer- Uh, No way! Who wants to go down really fast and come back down really fast. So fast you have a plastic cover over your face?

Sun Wheel- I'm still too scared to go on this. But, I don't suggest the moving carts for little kids. More for thrill seekers.

Mullholland Madness- This is pretty fun. Though, it even scares adults. I've seen little 6 year olds doing single rider on it.

Orange Stinger- This is good for little kids. I always go on Grizzly Rapids and go on this to dry off. It's a little cold, but it works!

Golden Zephyr- This is fun, but don't forget to take off the kids hats! My mickey ears flew off my head into the water.. And little kids get a kick out of it!

King Triton's Caurosel- Of course, like any caurosel, this so totally rocks!

Jumpin' Jellyfish- It rocks! It's for little kids and they are always smiling when they get off.

S.S. Rustworthy- Fun way to get wet and explore!

Hollywood Pictures Backlot-

Monsters Inc. Mike and Sully To the Rescue!- So fun for little kids who like Boo or just an adventure. Watch out for Raz!

The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror- I'm too scared to go on this.

Disney's Aladdin A Musical Spectacular- It's a pretty good, air conditioned, show!

Playhouse Disney-Live On Stage- Fun! For little kids more than big, obviously.

Muppet*Vision 3D- A feast for the eyes! Don't want to miss it.

Disney Animation- Not quite sure.

Turtle Talk With Crush- Don't miss it! A Must for Anyone. Make sure your little turtle dudes and dudettes sit up front and wear ears! A suprise may come your way!

Animation Academy- It's just fun to sit here and learn how to draw Disney Characters!

Character Close Up- Well, of course, you have to see the characters!

Sorcerer's Workshop- It's so fun to take the little quizes, look at the moving pictures, and talking to the magic mirror!

The Hollywood Backlot Stage- Just see if a show is going on and watch it. It's usually girls, so if you have little boys, hehe.

A Bug's Land-

It's Tough To Be A Bug- This scares alot of kids, including myself.

Bountiful Valley Farm- It's educational.. I'll tell you that much, but its OKAY in fun.

Flik's Fun Fair-

Flick's Flyers- These are fun, I don't know about you, but I love flying in take-out boxes!

Francis' Lady Bug Boogie- Fun, Fun, Fun. Especially for little ones.

Heimlich's Chew Chew Train- Pretty fun, forks in the road, things like that.

Princess Dot Puddle Park- Fun way to get wet and prance around.

Tuck And Roll's Drive'Em Boogie- Fun Bumper cars!

ToT- sights and special effects are just as fun as the ride portion. Loud noises might disturb some younger guests, but I would call it a very fun ride. Not that thrilling, but just enough to be fun and not intense. Preshow is a bit scary, but it sets the mood well.

Maliboomer- Other than the launch up, it's a very tame ride with a great view. As long as you breathe, the launch should not be too bad. Though those afraid of heights should NOT ride at all. Since you can see the ride in its entirety, riders should not be surprised.

Sun Wheel (rocking)- A bit nauseating, but no height restriction and I've seen very young kids on the ride. There are no seat belts or restraints, so unless they are complete daredevils, I'd stay away for a few years. It looks much less tame than it really is. And there's no way to control the swinging.

So fast you have a plastic cover over your face?

They're there because to block the screams. Nice reviews. As only 15 (addicted to the DIS by age 13), I also am kinda considered a kid. I'll add mine for ToT, Maliboomer, and Sun Wheel.

I thought the plastic covers were spit shields.
