I'm aware that most people on this photography board are from the US and haven't been so i thought i'd share some of my pics. I've not had chance to edit any yet - they're all as shot (from RAW and JPEG shooting) - i'll edit them eventually.
More can be found on http://www.flickr.com/photos/tripodjw/collections/72157607916444695/ , if you're interested.

Cool! Thanks for sharing those. We were there in May 2005 but didn't have time for the Studios or to really see the hotels. We loved it! We only had 3 full days in Paris so Disneyland got 1 of them, 2 would have been better. I'd love to see more:)

Oooooooooooh I really enjoyed seeing all of these pictures! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome photos! Thanks so much for sharing them

I really like the carousel shot. What were your camera settings, and what type of lens did you use?

Beautiful shots. Maybe I'll share some of my own next month.

Love these- I wish they were bigger!

Cool, nice work - good to see the fisheye shots too. :teeth:

Was one "ear" really out (ie, not lit) in the water tower shot?

I wonder if it's wrong that I have more interest in visiting DL Paris than Paris itself. :lmao: Somehow Paris itself has never interested me much. But DL Paris is on my list, I'd really like to see Phantom Manor and the dragon under the castle and some other unique things there.

I'm right there with you -- if I ever go to Paris, seeing Disneyland paris will be my primary motivation for doing so. Of all the parks outside the US, it's the one I'd most like to see. It's right behind my (much more likely to be realized) desire to visit the original Disneyland.

Oh you guys! Paris is a wonderful city! I was an exchange student in France in high school and DH and I went back a few years ago. There are so many wonderful things to photograph. All my Paris photos are film and none of them scanned in the computer or I would show you how beautiful the city is. That is one city where I can just walk the streets for days and soak up the atmosphere.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Glad people enjoyed seeing them.

I was using my 10-17 fisheye lens. I had it in shutter priority and picked about 1/2 second shutter speed (ISO was 200). I was lucky because it was a dull day so didn't need to try and use ND filters. it's still a little overexposed imho but i was just playing around and it came out ok.

Hehe, yeah Mickey had lost an ear of lights.

I know DL Paris is my home park (being the closest to the UK) but i have to say there are some things about it that i much prefer to the US parks - Phantom Manor (having a proper story makes sense makes this my favourite) and the dragon being two of the best. I also like the way Pirates is in a different order. it makes far more sense to me that the battle is first, then the pillaging, and the the plunge into the underworld of what happens when you're bad.

The dragon seems to appeal to some of the Disney creatives too. I was talking to Robert Olszewski last fall at a Snow White signing in DL and he was fascinated by the dragon being under the castle. We encouraged him to visit (as he never has) - I'd love to see an olszewski minature of the castle with dragon lightbox as part of it.
