I have this question as well, since I can see my tickets in the app but nowhere on the website...So ate reservations only to be made on the website or on the app too? I can't find where they specify this
Right? Will they show up in the reservation system since it's linked to the account? Months ago I spoke with a CM and they said it's just linked to the account and will not show on the website. How did WDW do it?I have this question as well, since I can see my tickets in the app but nowhere on the website...
Good question. Both, I would guess. It basically just makes it sound like they're not verifying residency on the website. From last week:Are we talking making reservations or buying tickets?
Well, in the WDW system, you can see your tix on the website...though I think you can buy tix and make park rezzies in both the app and the website, but for WDW, the app and the website have all the same info, so....Right? Oh OK. Well I'm hoping they just show up as eligible tickets to choose when we pick our party in the reservation system.Well, in the WDW system, you can see your tix on the website...though I think you can buy tix and make park rezzies in both the app and the website, but for WDW, the app and the website have all the same info, so....
My guess would be that the DL app will just kick you to a website page for buying tickets and booking park reservations.Well, in the WDW system, you can see your tix on the website...though I think you can buy tix and make park rezzies in both the app and the website, but for WDW, the app and the website have all the same info, so....
I can't shake the feeling that they will imminently announce a new AP program. I have nothing to go on, but it's a very strong hunch.
I feel like the next two or three months are going to be a cascade of unpredictability. (As if the last six weeks haven't already been.) Like I could totally see DL announcing memberships if they had real confidence that they could be above 50% capacity on June 15th.I would love to hear something sooner rather than later. But I feel the opposite. I think it will be awhile before anything is announced. If they can sell out on 1-2-3 day tickets, they will make a lot more money that way. Also, WDW is still only selling AP renewals. No new APs as of yet. And they have been open 9 months already.
As long as that page works for folks who already have tix...i guess you could load in eligible tickets on that page, but the way the DL site works now, there is a link to add tickets to your account, but nowhere to view tickets you already have, and if you try to load in tickets you already have loaded in the app, it just says that the tickets are already associated with an acct.My guess would be that the DL app will just kick you to a website page for buying tickets and booking park reservations.
My fear for DVC is what if they slip back a tier before my trip? Like a week before and now out of state can’t come again? That’s gonna be a mess on many levels- not just DVC, but we will be stuck.
More fun with Disney tech. But the language on the ticketing page makes it sound like they're going handle it on the website:As long as that page works for folks who already have tix...i guess you could load in eligible tickets on that page, but the way the DL site works now, there is a link to add tickets to your account, but nowhere to view tickets you already have, and if you try to load in tickets you already have loaded in the app, it just says that the tickets are already associated with an acct.

Okay, that makes sense. In my case, we don’t have any tickets, so we’re going to need to buy them on the 15th. Hopefully Disney will clarify this on their site soon!My bad, I was referring to partially used tickets. PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED unused tickets will have the 13 day restriction, however, I have heard that NEW ticket sales for multi day tickets will no longer have that restriction and will simply have an expiration date.
I am pretty firmly convinced that the new "membership program" will also include WDW and that is why they are not selling new APs over there and only allowing limited renewals. Eventually, those old ones will phase out and the new membership will take its place.
There is a reason why the old Premiere AP will can only be converted to a WDW AP through April 30 AND the legacy pass discounts expire April 30 AND Disneyland reopens on April 30. Something new is going to start then. Otherwise it's a very suspicious coincidence.
