I wonder how capacity for the stores will be going forward in Orange tier? Technically retail can be at 100% capacity in Orange tier...

I mean, it would be nice to just remove all the barriers to just walking into stores, but I highly doubt Disney will do that in their operated stores. I think they want to continue to maintain distance in checkout lines and such, so they won't overload the stores. Other merchants don't seem to be regulating entry like the Disney locations are, so I imagine not much will change.

I wonder if Splitsville will reopen for bowling? They can now.

Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park

I feel like they're announcing the alcohol sales at Blue Bayou to distract us from the fact that there's no information about tickets/reservations yet. I'm really hoping we can get opening weekend for the kiddo's birthday, but I have no idea if that will happen or if I need to come up with something else celebratory...

Also, a glass of wine with a nice meal is definitely an enhancement, and it's hardly going to increase the overall level of Disney drinking. As long as they keep it inside contained restaurants/bars, I have no issue.

Now, if they start selling alcohol to walk around with inside DL, I will be upset about that, and I say this as someone who gets a drink at DCA about 90% of the time... I don't need someone spilling beer on me as we try to navigate the crowded walkways of Adventureland. No one needs drink selfies at the castle. That is a hard pass.

I will try to get a reservation for opening day and/or the following Sunday. However, I’ve seen how these things go with Disney and I won’t be too upset if I’m unable to secure either. I realize at the outset that it’s going to be a long shot. Also, I’ll go home to Chicago in a few weeks and will return two days before the park opening. I’d like to have it settled before then (i.e. the question of whether I go or not). I wish us all luck. Many or most of us probably won’t get to go on opening-day tix. All we can do is try.

This is enough of a reason to not try and get opening day reservations. I want that opportunity to finally eat at blue bayou for the first time! I think it's safe to consider me out of the running for opening day mayhem

I do think it's a Little cruel (selfishly of course) that they are waiting to release the reservation system and the dates when stuff like Blue Bayou will open. Especially because I think they just like sprinkling things in one thing at a time to gain excitement and news time. I would be nice to let people start making reservations and have the dates of when things will be open, it's so simple.

CMs are talking on Twitter about their callbacks and one of them said they work "adv" attractions ( I assumed that was short for advanced)
