What do we think about park hopping?
I don't there's going to be park hopping for awhile.

They really need to pursue aggressive legal options. It's one thing to not allow them to be open right now. But to not have ANY sort of guidance or details is just wrong imo.Sounds like Knotts, like Disney, is equally as frustrated with the CA governor's office & the responsiveness to questions & pleas to publish reopening guidelines.

With Flex passes, you can make a reservation for DL/CA or both. What do we think about park hopping?
They don’t count for any other perks of onsite hotels. Are we sure about that? When we booked with WDW and originally looked at GN hotels we counted as a resort guest and not a ticketed guest. According to that CM ticketed guests are ones who do not book packages through WDW.

I agree but how long until it crashes on day one. From what I have gathered the speculated date now is Oct 16th. i have a flight to go Oct 22nd to Oct 25. I worry that if they do open that I won't be able to get a reservation and have to cancel my flight again.
anything is possible. IF they count my guess is only those who booked directly through Disney would count. But I still don’t think they’d count.Right, I think the CM was indicating that it counts for the reservation system if booked directly through them. I'll find out for sure once they open up and open up reservations for parks
They haven’t, but they don’t have as many detailed blockout dates as DL. You have Platinum (every day available), Gold (no Xmas or Spring Break), and Silver (no Xmas, Spring Break, June or July). Not like DL with certain days of the week depending on the months.I was just coming to post that very thought. Do you know if any adjustments have been made at WDW?
I haven’t followed anything historical, but has DL ever added blockout dates after Initially announcing them? Definitely would be some annoyed passholders who bought one pass expecting certain days and then getting that changed. Though I guess they could make a compromise by allowing them to upgrade based on cost of pass at time of original purchase, maybe even prorate it for the rest of the days left on their pass (though that gets nice and complicated and of course I trust Disney IT to get that done right).I think that they absolutely will adjust AP blockout dates.
Yeah I don’t expect any park hopping. Only way you can do it now is to be on a VIP tour or be a Club 33 member!I don't think there will be any park hopping for a while. WDW isn't allowing it, even on days with low attendance.
WDW has different rules for Good Neighbor hotels. They have certain ones which pretty much get most of the actual Disney hotel perks. You don’t even need to book via Disney; you can book on the hotels website or a discount travel site or something like that. Pre-Covid they could link the reservation into My Disney Experience and get EMH, 60 day FP. Nowadays I think they are included in the on-site guest park pass system. Are we sure about that? Is UC-Irvine opening? We have UCSD opening with 15k students on campus. Hopefully they act better than the SDSU kids with 800+ cases that put SD County on the brink of slipping.
Low numbers continue trend toward Orange tier

If OC is able to get to red tier, really wondering what's holding back reasoning for DLR to move forward. It's crazy, that movie theatres can open with folk processing through at higher risks than a park with strict masking and exposure processes.
Is this available online or do you have to call?
I would try to call back and speak with a different one. I saw the info here and called https://mickeyblog.com/2020/09/23/d...YlRqogc1HJi8Z3WxOODJl_GlmipciA11TZ6e19eyOwsw8Tried booking at paradisePier and they said they discount is only for those who're already booked and had to move their reservations. Drat!
OC is already in "Red" tier and will likely move to "Orange" tier on Tuesday per OC Register. Is UC-Irvine opening? We have UCSD opening with 15k students on campus. Hopefully they act better than the SDSU kids with 800+ cases that put SD County on the brink of slipping.
