Kicking out the unruly ones is all well and good (and should be done) but that doesn't address the bad behavior in the 1st place, people need to stop being jerky.

So, thoughts on how APs will work at Disneyland?
Do you think they will allocate the same amount of tickets as they do for Disneyworld? Or will they take into account how many people have APs here and will allocate accordingly?

Also do you think preference will be given to the more expensive passes? Signature passes shouldnt have the same availability as a SoCal pass. (And that’s coming from a non signature pass holder.)

Also, if you can’t really take advantage of photopass or fastpasses, they really need to figure out what they are doing with MaxPass.

My opinion:
They need to refund Maxpass
They need to allocate more reservations to Passholders. (I’m thinking 1 week from a date they should open unused reservations to signature holders, then so on until 2 days before for SoCal passes)
If you have a hotel reservation or stand alone ticket you should book a week in advance anyways. That way they still get their priority, but the parks don’t operate below capacity because of a fixed AP allocation.

If MP isn’t available I would expect a prorated refund of MP for the amount of days remaining on your pass. I expect blockout days will remain and be enforced. I do not expect there will be different buckets of AP park slots, the benefit of the pass is more dates from which to pick and that benefit is still there. I expect few AP slots at the beginning as Disney needs to find out what sort of demand there is from day ticket holders/buyers. More will open in time like at WDW. I expect the same 30 more days on your AP as an incentive to keep it or a refund of the remaining days to be offered like WDW was offered. I expect APs to scream bloody murder as all of this goes down, just like WDW and it will fall on deaf ears.

It doesn't mean a sudden reopening of businesses, though. The following quotes are from a Santa Cruz area newspaper but they would apply to Orange County and other counties as well.

More exciting news. I saw on another site, photos of Buena Vista Street today and the paper is off the display windows at Los Feliz 5 and Dime. You can see the merchandise displays in the windows. Hoping we get some sort of announcement this week!

Agreed on all points. However, the jerky people simply won't stop being jerky. Because, in their minds, they're swimming in the right direction and the other 90% of people who are swimming counter to them are stupid and simply in their way. Ask any CM at DL: they'll tell you that about 85% of the guests are nice/kind and the remaining ≈15% are difficult or simply outright nasty and entitled. That percentage will always be a burden to the good people of the world.

I think the new guidelines that are supposed to be released this week will address the counties NOT on the watch list and the reopening of those watch list businesses. Sounds like it is going to be sector by sector (hair salons will be separate from nail salons, tattoo parlors etc). I am hoping that this is done slowly and thoughtfully this time. Not rushing to open everything at once.

Actually no. They meet all the metrics except for the 100k case count. Everything else is met. Positivity rate is 5.4%

Yes at this point, it seems socal is moving in the right direction. The areas of focus right now are the central part of the state. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks or so, LA can come off the watch list.

Yes but that case count is over twice the 100 per 100k case count at 211. So I would say they are pretty far off from getting off the Watch List.

That's why I said next 2 weeks or so The mayor the other day said deaths are at the lowest it's ever been. So hopefully that means good news for the region as I know there is a lot of movement between Orange/LA/SD.

What will also be interesting is their shutdown requirements. To get opened and then shutdown because 3 days of data landed the county back on the watchlist is not a sustainable business plan. I hope that is one of the things they addressing in this “new” guidance that is supposed to be more industry specific.
