Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

You’ve already linked your AP and your friend’s ticket. There’s nothing more to do.

Resort reservation + tickets in your account allows you to book your park Entrance Reservation.
That's if you have room reservation (8 digits) . How about DVC? My DVC #s are larger than 8 digits -- didn't do GE -- did DVR not get that opporutnity?

Does anybody else have a vacation package booked directly through DL and not have their tickets showing up on their reservation page? My reservation page shows The Tropicana with check-in, check-out dates and the people in my party, but nothing on my 5 day park hopper with maxpass tickets.

I was following the WDW reseravtions thread as well this morning, this is what I learned

It seems people using Apple devices such as Ipads and Mac laptops / computers are having the most issues so it looks like Disney's system is not compatible with Apple devices.

Also using the App on a phone is causing issues.

Make sure you have access to a none Apple device, a laptop or PC.

Also it seems that using Chrome on Incognito / Private mode or Firefox and Microsoft Edge with no browsing history is working best for people.

Getting access to the reservation system is where the hold up is, once people get to the reservation page, there is plenty of availability, even 5 and 6 hours after the system went live.

WDW guests were booking reservations right up to September 2021.

Anyone was eligible for the SWGE reservations - they only needed their email address/DL account. I linked tickets after my SWGE reservation was made.

The DL Park Reservation prototype that has been linked was of the website not the app. DL doesn’t have time to add resort reservations to the app.

After reading things today I went to the actual website to make sure I can see our linked passes, like on my phone, and low and behold I only have my daughter and I show up. When I try to add our friends who are coming with us it says they are already linked - which is true in the app. They are already on our room reservation so I think we will be ok, but I'd feel better if everything were just in place. Though maybe the AP part is not really a good thing if this 3 day rule will be a problem. I had to call the reservation line for another reason and the CM didn't think this would be an issue... I am a worry wart by nature though so that is what I will do.

Right -- Tried online website -- they ask for 8 digits reservation -- DVC are 12 digits :(

ok, question. On Disneyland App my tickets , bought direct through Disney website are showing up. On the website when I log in, there is no view ticket option, only AP and hotel reservations.

So would that mean that for Disneyland, the reservation system could be in the Ap only?

Maybe that’s what DL is still working on. Both of the mods on the ‘other side’ have DVC reservations at BLT and Kidani or Jambo. But again, DVC and regular resorts’ confirmation numbers have always linked to My Disney Exp (MDX).

https://occovid19.ochealthinfo.com/coronavirus-in-oc -- this doesn't bode well
175 cases out of 987 tests = 18% positive rate. Ouch. I believe most places use 8-10% as the cutoff (San Diego is 8%)

That’s an extremely low number of tests.... so you’re going to have a much higher percentage of positive tests. We are testing between 4500-7000 people a day here in San Diego county, and our positive percentage is 2.76%. Or it was when i checked a few days ago.

OC needs to increase their testing. My guess is only people who feel sick are going in for tests.

Yeah - check out the site - remember, yesterday was Sunday. They are normally testing 3800-4800 -- a lot lower than we are here in San Diego because, frankly, we have more capacity down here -- and our positive rates reflect this.

Regardless, both counties are creeping upwards over the past week; SD is ~4% now (baseline was 2-3% range). Even you you half the rate, 8% is still not a fun stat. We're hoping for 7/17th -- but I'm sure my wife not going to be happy about this number when she sees it.

Where did you see 18%?

987 tests out of the entire county is extremely low.... so you’re going to have a higher number of positive results. San Diego County is testing between 4500-7000 people a day and our percentage of positives has dropped to below 3%.

We are at 2.79% in San Diego County. You have to look at the rolling 14 day average. This is taken directly from the Tribune who gathers their data from the county.

The number of cases is going to go up due to reopening. It’s inevitable. Virus isn’t going anywhere.

You can still only get a test in OC if you have symptoms.

Wow didn't know that testing was so low in OC. Shows how much I get out of my LA county bubble lol. I think here our positive rate is like 8%, which isn't great, but it's remained steady at that for a while now.
