Rocking out in DCA

Inside the Opera House in Main Street is a slide show that honers the Cast Members of the past. These "Showgirls" performed on the Golden Horseshoe stage. I think their show would still be popular.

I always love all of your pictures, and one day I stumbled upon another thread where you post your pics also. Most of the pictures in that thread are from WDW.
But sad to say, I don't remember where to find it again. I was up to page 90, with many more to go.
Could you tell me where to find that thread again?![]()
Thanks!!
PS- I love to see your DL pics in that thread. They do DL proud!!!![]()
Cool... I'd love to see yours (probably IN focus!)![]()

These boats were once an attraction, called Mike Fink Keel Boats
There were only two boats. The Gullywhumper and Bertha Mae. The one used today on the Rivers of America is the Gullywhumper.
One reason why it is no longer a ride is that Gullywhumper tipped over and guests on board went for a swim.
If anyone would like to know more, there is a site called Yesterland that contains stories of all the discontinued rides from Disneyland. http://yesterland.com/
