I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I was wondering if any of you photographers out there has a good picture (or pictures) of the Dumbo ride. DS3 absolutely loved that ride and he is a bit delayed in some areas, including his speech so he is unable to talk to us about what he thought about it. Anyway, I wanted to put some pictures in a book for him so we can talk to him about the rides he liked. I've found some pictures on the internet but I can't find a good dumbo picture that is big enough to print at a decent size.

ScrapperKimmy - I would guess that photo was taken in the Beast's Library in the Animation Building of DCA. I could be wrong, though.

Lavender Peach - did you ever get one of those diecast Dumbos from the Attraction/Theme Park Collection that used to be sold in DLR? That would be a good and inexpensive souvenir for your son to have, as it is a mini version of the ride vehicle!!!

Sherry, no I didn't get that. I've never seen them. It sounds cute but it sounds like they aren't available anymore? PinkBudgie got DS some of the plastic figures of the fab 5 for his birthday and i made him a book with pictures of different characters but I thought pictures of the actual rides (now that he knows what they are) would be helpful in encouraging him to talk and let us know what he likes.

By the way, I've been lurking some more on the photopass thread. I know that i won't be able to resist the photographers the next time we go. If I end up buying a photopass cd I will blame it all on you.

Oh, my evil influence was only a wee part of the whole equation! It is all THE SNOWBALL EFFECT that is to blame! There is no escape from the Great Snowball Effect! It will get everyone eventually!

Those Dumbo diecast vehicles are probably not sold anymore throughout the parks - sometimes WDW will still carry something that can be ordered through their mail order, but I think it is probably gone. However, I have recently seen it on Ebay, and it was still reasonably priced (under $12)!!

Anyway, in the meantime, I think the book/pictures of Dumbo and the other rides, etc. sounds wonderful for your son, and I hope one of the talented photographers on this thread comes through for you with some awesome pictures!!!

Thank you so much! Those are great! There are several there that I think will be perfect. I also like the night shots since we rode it at night so he hasn't actually seen it during the day yet. And I think the size will be good too. I don't need the pictures to be huge but you know how a lot of the pictures on the internet are small and bad resolution so these will be great! Thanks again. I really appreciate it.

It looks like the pink is starting to fade a little bit (thank goodness). I went a few years ago after being away for several years and I was like, MAN, I do NOT remember it being FLO-GLO-PINK!

Musta shown up after a fresh coat.
