Disneyland October 26-28th? Anyone else going to be there??

I will be there from Oct 22 to Oct 29.
Plan on seeing all the shows and parades this time.
Looking forward to the Nightmare Haunted House.
Really wanting to find and see Nemo

Hoping to see the Nightmare before Christmas 3D movie at AMC in downtowndisney while I am there.
:wizard:
I love the Nightmare Before Christmas theme to the Haunted House!! The kids are really excited to see it too!! :yay:
And I can't wait to go on the Nemo ride for the first time.

Beth
My girls are 11 and 7! Jade will be turning 8 on our Dec trip. :) Just made her/our ressies for Ariel's Grotto for her breakfast that morning. :) That was the first time we've been able to see Jade's head on CA Screaming. LOL Normally her head is stuck down so all we can see is the top of her hair. LOL We bought it because it was such a good one of the girls. :)

Maybe we should exchange phone numbers so we can *accidentally* bump into each other while we are there! LOL
You'll have to let me know what you think of Ariel's Grotto.
I'd love to go but for a family of 6 it's so expensive and I have heard such mixed reviews that I'm not sure I want to chance it. kwim? :confused3

Hopefully it's as good as some have said it is, and she has a great time! :wizard:

We should plan to bump into each other, lol. :thumbsup2

Hi Beth, and all the other next-weekenders!

We'll be there from Thurs night through Sunday afternoon for the annual Nevada Day Dash to DL! We travel in a pack of 8---5 adults and my 3 kids. You'll hear us coming before you see us :rolleyes1

This trip we will be meeting up with another group of about 12 (more teachers from Vegas!) so we'll be a monster pack of unruly annual passholders.

Funny thing is...our next visit is scheduled for Dec. 14-16!!! :lmao: What are the chances!?!? After that is MLK...anyone else???

Hi Patti! Sounds like you have a fun group going!! I wonder if any teacher's from my kid's school will be there?? :rotfl:

That is too funny that already 3 of us are planning to go back the same dates in December!! :rotfl2:
I feel the urge to sing, It's a Small World..... :scared1:

We'll be there too! We're going Oct 27-30 and we'll be at MHT on 10/29. We're traveling with another family so I'm pretty sure we won't have time to meet up with anyone else on this trip, though.

If you're at MHT on 10/29 and see 3 little girls dressed up as candy corn -- that's me! (well, my DD and my Dnieces)
Aww, I won't be at the MHT but those candy corn costumes sounds too cute. Take pics!! ;)

You know, those words were running through my head as I read Patti's post! LOL How funny is that...what a neat coincidence!!! Well, maybe we should share phone numbers so we can text each other and say HI for real! That would be pretty neat!!

Oh ya, Ariel's Grotto. We have eaten there twice, once April of 2006 and once in July 2007. We enjoyed our experiences both times. It is really pricey though!! We wouldn't be doing it in December except we have a house rule that whoever is the birthday person gets to pick a meal that day, usually it's lunch or dinner but Jade wanted breakfast, so Princess Breakfast she gets. LOL We did lunch both times, it was good, nothing spectacular but IMO you're there to see the Princesses not for the food and they are great, we've had great experiences with them each time.

Some days I cant believe how time flys! Others it seems like a life time until its the day. We will be leaving on Mon 29th @ 6:00 am in the morns ( Ha Ha am" Morning") We are going to MHT on Halloween night. I love looking at all the pics, that keeps me going. We will be renewing our vow and celebrating 22 years of growing in life together. We're staying at the PP and cant wait.:cheer2:

Hi, and Happy Early Birthday to you from one Scorpio to another. ;) (my b-day is the 24th)

I'm glad you're getting your birthday wish, and I hope you have a great time! :wizard:

BTW, I see you are in San Diego. Back when I lived near L.A. my DH and I used to go there all the time. This was right after high school when we were still just dating.
We loved it! Seeing your location makes me miss it and think I need to plan a quick get away for old times sake.

Aw, thank you! Maybe I'll run into you while I'm there. I'll probably be wearing some type of birthday "flair". A sticker, a button, maybe a crown!:dance3:
Yes, I love living in San Diego. Its such a beautiful city and there is so much to do! Its also nice being close to Disneyland. :thumbsup2
By the way, Scorpios rock!!

Hi all! We'll be there on the 25th-28th. Also coming from Las Vegas! What school do you teach at? My DDs both go to Leavitt Middle School.

Sure, why not!! Especially since we'll be there at the same time two different months. :thumbsup2

Oh that's good to hear. I'm glad you've enjoyed it before. I'd really like to try it, but my DH and older two could really care less about the Princesses. LOL

I might try to work it out sometime where I take the twins and have my husband take the older two on some of the rides the girls can't do. It would be cheaper that way too. ;)

Although it saddens me to say they are also out growing the Princesses already at the ripe old age of 7. :sad2: Actually I might even enjoy it as much, if not more then them...... :rolleyes1

Yeah, I'm 35 years old here but apparently going on 6. :rotfl:

Your welcome. And since it's your birthday, I say go all out, do the button, the sticker and the crown!

And yes, Scorpios rock.....even if we are a little naughty at times. :rolleyes1 ;)

Hi Carole! Looks like quite a few from Vegas will be there. :thumbsup2

well all of you basically described how the whole entire park population looks on any given day:rolleyes: :rotfl: but I will be there from the 24-26th riding around (or zooming if Im in the clear)in my scooter alongside Matterhorn who will have a double stroller with her DS2 and DD4 in it...:goodvibes

We'll be there for part of those days (see my 8 more sleeps post!!!) 10/24-10/27 for us!

:cool1:

Oooh, you'll get there on my b-day! Have something sweet for me! (or a drink if you prefer.... :rolleyes1 )

:lmao:

The last time we were there, I really wanted to find another DISer. Any DISer. So I was on the lookout for anyone in lime green. That must have been a popular color last summer because there were so many people wearing it!!

I wonder how fast security would kick me out if I walked around tapping everyone on the shoulder and asking for their screen name? :rotfl:

Well, my pic is posted so that should help, and again, I'll be the one pulling her hair out and threatening my 4 kids with bodily harm if they don't behave. :rolleyes1 ;)
So if you see that just walk up and say "Hi, you must be Beth". :rotfl2:

ETA: Where is "smack dab in the middle of Cali" btw? My mom used to live in Central California, not far from Fresno so I was just curious.....

Beth, since you are a mom of 4!! I will go ahead and have a drink and something sweet for your b'day! Happy Birthday!

:cool1:

We will be there the 25-28 (in the parks from the 26-28). There will be 7 of us total: My parents, DBF (who will be in a wheelchair part time due to a recent surgery) and I will be staying at the GCH; his parents and his grandmother will be at the BWPPI.

I have no clue how anyone would recognize us!!!

Hi there! Enjoy your stay at the GCH! Maybe you could run out and grab a few lime green Mickey heads to use on a back pack or purse or something. :thumbsup2

I'm was thinking of tying something lime green to my backpack. Maybe a feather boa, because you know, that wouldn't make me look weird or anything.....:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Where would a person even find a LIME GREEN feather boa???

Then again, I'm in Vegas. Might not be too hard.
