Disneyland NYE - Place to Hang Out/Countdown?

Hello! I know that Disneyland will be crazy crowded on NYE. I'm looking for a place in the parks where my family can hear the countdown and enjoy the atmosphere. I was thinking Hungry Bear or is the Main Street Train Station open during the midnight countdown?

The entertainment schedule is out. Disneyland does a 9PM countdown for East Coast and then another one at midnight.

There will be two main shows:

• Fireworks viewable from castle/main street, It's a Small World or the Rivers of America. Castle front would be the most popular place and I expect it to fill the moment the Christmas parade ends. The It's a Small World countdown isn't listed in the Entertainment Guide so double check what the plan is with City Hall if you plan to go here (cast members not working in Entertainment or Guest Services often don't know so they may give you wrong information).
• Special show where World of Color used to be.

There are also secondary countdowns in each park:

• Hollywood Land in DCA. They set up a stage next to the Hyperion.
• Tomorrowland. This is a full NYE party starting from 8:30PM using the Galactic Grill area.

Historically, you could go to the Main Street Train station but Main Street would be packed starting around 7PM so getting there may take longer than usual. I don't see any point in going to Hungry Bear as you aren't able to see any of the countdowns although you would probably hear it.

Special show where World of Color used to be. They've installed new pyro so this would likely be a popular place for frequent visitors who have done NYE before.

Are you aware of anything officially announced/unofficially for DCA for the midnight countdown? Last few years info has been hard to come by and we were hoping to ring in the countdown in DCA but unsure of what if anything is happening over there/

The entertainment schedule shows "New Year’s Eve Countdown Celebration at Paradise Gardens Park" and "New Year’s Eve Countdown Celebration in Hollywood Land" so there will certainly be something in these areas. Upon fact checking a youtuber, it looks like the pyro plan he presented was for a previous year so I'm not sure if a World of Color type show is actually happening this year. It may just be a DJ with a giant LED banner set up for a countdown.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I should have been a bit clearer. It has been a bucket list item for me to be in a Disney park for NYE. I don’t really care where we are, just want to be sort of out of the way and in the park. I don’t have to see the fireworks or see projections.

I was thinking some possible alternatives to Hungry Bear would be by the Firehouse, Opera House or train station for a quick exit? Does anyone know how early those spots fill up or if they do? Any other suggestions?

If I’m remembering correctly, they still did Pyro at DCA in 2018 when role of color was down for the whole fiasco so there is a good chance that there could be pyro this year.
