Disneyland Monorail

I'm curious as to how this works. I know it used to take you from the hotel into the park but how does it work now? Is it still outside of the park or only inside the park? I've been but never rode the monorail. Thanks!

There are 2 stops, one inside the park in Tomorrowland and one outside the park in Downtown Disney, very close to the Disneyland Hotel.

If you board in Tomorrowland you can ride it all the way around. If you board in Downtown Disney, you must have a park ticket and it is only a one way ride to Tomorrowland.
