Disneyland correspondent to the rescue!!!
As a mom of 2 that's taken her kids to DL since birth,With both single and double strollers, I can tell you there is absolutely NO room on that monorail for open strollers. The cars are narrow and not at all set up for parking an open stroller. Therefore, Cast members will make you fold any stroller brought on board at the DLH Station or Fantasyland. My double is so extremely tight when folded up and taken aboard that I gave up doing it.
You have to remember that the monorail there isn't used as an efficient transportation source, like in WDW. If you want to ride round trip, you simply leave your stroller in Tomorrowland, get off at the DLH station, and walk around the platform to reenter the queue.
It's much easier and more efficient to walk back and forth with larger strollers.
