The only complaint I had was getting stuck in San Leandro, it was a scary place for a person who was stuck in bed. My DH was told I probably wouldn't live, then he was told that I probably would never walk, then it was I would always need the walker, then it became you will always need the cane. And then I started hiding the cane.

I walk now, and my arm recovery was a miracle to me, I left the hospital not having the use of the arm and within four months I had myself using it again. When I came back to rehab at our local Kaiser we were out in the hospital while the family was visiting I ran into this smiling DR and I thought he was a lunatic. Scotty told me that it was my ICU DR, who thought I was going to die.
I am a miracle walking and I know it. This trip is my victory lap.
